"It was a perfect stay, not only because of the five star ratings I just gave for cleanliness, attentiveness, affordability and location, but because of Jade, and her generosity as as the Surf Inn’s representative. Her welcome. Her goodbye, the spread she put out for breakfast for me and only one other guest. She’s a keeper. I’ve stayed at the Surf Inn often and have always enjoyed it. This stay was special because of Jade."

"Checking was great because the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Parking was convenient and appreciated because everything in the area was pretty much walkable. The view from the suite a was beautiful of the ocean. We loved it!"

"Terrific homemade biscuits and vegetarian gravy! Property was really lovely; fragrant garden and pretty pathways throughout. We enjoyed using the hottub for both nights of our stay. I dug the decor in our room and the bedding was super cozy."

"This location in the quiet town of Gualala was perfect for us. Very accommodating. . We are in our 70’s and have just discovered we get pretty tired with the stairs, especially in the moving in and moving out process. The views are lovely and nearby access to beaches for beach walks really sweetened the trip. Mike was very responsive to our inquiries."

"Beautiful vacation stay with stunning views and conveniently located with walking distance to local shops and town, yet private and secluded.The kitchen had some fresh upgrades and was well equipped. The property was clean, yet pet friendly with a large garden and access to walking trail. The hosts were very friendly and responsive.We chose this property for the views and we were not disappointed, spending hours watching the ocean, spotting wales and other wildlife. "
