“A wonderful stay. Not only is this guest house run for a great cause (education of indigenous people in Guamote and surroundings) it is done without sacrificing any comfort, style or creativity for guests. Staff (both local and expat) were great. The breakfast and dinner were a cut above Ecuadorian standards. The room was comfortable and spacious with a king bed and good shower. Much more than you would expect in this very local village”

“I was warmly welcomed upon arrival. Smiles were abundant. I was shown around the property coffee and water available and beautiful areas to enjoy and relax My room was immaculate, the bathroom had all new and modern toilet sink, and shower. Along with an abundance of HOT water. Breakfast at the little restaurant next door was fresh and YUMMY. If I ever find myself in Ecuador again, Riobamba, I will stay at Hotel Montecarlo Riobamba again. ”

“Our stay at Turismo Comunitario Las Esperanza was unforgettable thanks to the incredible location, the incredibly kind hosts, and the unique opportunity to share some time with members of an indigenous community. We stayed in the traditional choza which was large, clean and comfortable. The food (dinner and breakfast) was delicious and well prepared. We regretted not having more time to explore the area both hiking and on horseback. We will be sure to return for those activities. When we……
