“The layout of this property is perfect . It is well stocked with everything. It’s funny but one of the things that stood out is how sharp the kitchen knives were . I have family members who insist on bringing their own knives because we always get bad ones where we stay . Also , the cleanliness and the relaxing surroundings. This is the perfect house for a large family specially if you need some quiet time . Each cottage is very cozy and each one has its own bathroom. Perfect place . ”

“Wonderful stay for Thanksgiving celebration. Our favorite part was the sunroom off the kitchen where we could watch wildlife on the river. We saw egrets, otters, cormorants, and much more! We typically spend time at the Russian River during the summer months when the river is super busy. We enjoyed the fall experience of nobody on the river. It was peaceful with beautiful light changes throughout each day creating painting like views. Our guests found their bed to be comfortable. We thought the……

“The kitchen was great! Plenty of dishes and utensils…. I would add a new skillet or two. Downstairs shower is hard to use for anyone under 6’2”…way too high to reach or change shower head. We loved the light, location, and cleanliness. All beds were comfy.”

“Our family has stayed at Valley Lane before and the host David is always a pleasure to work with. So friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, it rained a few days out of the week we were there but we still had a great time: cooking, playing board, poo, shuffle board, board games and just spemding time together.
