"Really enjoyed this hotel. The room was big, clean, and came with a massage chair plus a great mountain view. Breakfast was mainly Chinese themed with limited options but totally fine. It’s not right in town, but getting a Didi (Uber equivalent) anywhere in Yangshuo is quick and easy.
The place has lots of fun extras like kids’ play area, small animal corner, as well cat fishes and koi fishes, you can feed, and a rooftop pool that is specifically for photos. They offer a one-time complimentary photoshoot with costumes if you want, the photographer, Xiaowei, was amazing, it rained during our shoot and he offered to shoot again for free once the weather was better. There is a ground floor swimming pool which is more for kids to paddle bamboo raft than actual swimming, so just manage expectations. Also there are a lot of mosquitos to bring mosquito repellent.
What truly makes the stay special is the staff. They’re warm, proactive, super helpful with planning and translations, and always checking in to make sure you’re sorted. Interacted a lot with Miss He and Miss Lin at the front desk and they were superstars but all the hotel staff we interacted with were superstars. Honestly, they’re the reason it feels like a 10/10 stay."
