Gulangyu Island Holidays

The room 80503 was very noisy feeling like Melbourne F1 Grand Prix, but I was told it was windy. I asked for changing my room, reception answered that other rooms weren’t available (It’s after 2:00pm) I couldn’t sleep at night, asking reception for a quiet room. He found a room 80517 which was less noisy than 80503. Unfortunately it was a smoking room. I had no choice but staying in the room. I was very frustrated. I am here asking you hotels.com what room did you book for me? Please see attached pictures.

We really liked the unique decor, every corner of the hotel feels thoughtfully curated. We booked the lake-view room on the sixth floor, the staff were very helpful in answering all of our questions about the hotel and the surrounding areas. David, the bell boy, was exceptionally polite and helpful when we checked in and checked out, we appreciate his efforts to make us feel at home. Highly recommend this hotel!
