「Positives - great location in Scalloway, room quiet and bed was comfy. Breakfast was included and there was a good choice of cooked and buffet items. Negatives - we booked via Expedia and chose to pay a deposit with the remainder due on arrival and full cancellation available until a week before. We had a confirmation letter from the hotel via Expedia that said that the final balance would be taken on arrival. I tried to contact the hotel several times between booking and arrival to confirm...

「The hotel is very well situated for exploring the full area of the Shetland Islands. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is plenty of parking space and there is a fuel station next door and a very good fish and chip shop across the road, both of which are very useful.」

「The hotel is a little bit further a out of than we thought. It overlooked the ferry port. We enjoyed watching the ferries (we are old). The hotel food was excellent and reasonably priced, compared to the town. At weekend you needto book in the town. The breakfast was good. The staff were lovely. We stayed a week,so they got to know us. We'll be back. On a another note, we are thinking of moving to Shetland.」
