Budgetel Gulf Coast hotels

"This is a 1950’s- era motel with smaller rooms, tiny bathrooms, and minimal amenities. Rooms were clean. No fitness room, average outdoor pool, no hot tub. There is an adjacent bar/grill and you can get limited food ordered at window next to pool. Coffee is available in the morning by the front desk. Bath towels seemed to be in short supply as we had to request fresh bath towels two days as we did not receive new ones. Staff though are very friendly and they quickly try to handle any requests. Conveniently located near airport, between Sarasota and Bradenton and plenty of free parking. Overall it was Ok but I would not call it a resort. "

"The box spring covers/ incasements/ was really dirty, and rooms a little outdated but for the price and location was completely worth it,we've stayed here on several occasions and we enjoy being on the beach. "

"Staff is great, super outdated hotel. We are staying in another hotel next to hilton now and huge difference. Hilton was not clean. Pool bathrooms are gross they barely clean the dishes around the pool, carpet is old. Balcony we face to is soooo loud bc of all the ac stuff you cannot enjoy your balcony. Nowhere to actually lounge and enjoy inside everyrhing is like 1960s outdated weird vibe hotel Location is incredible tho. And private beach access is great. Beach is super nice. but room cleaning is meh. When we arrived in the room there was a used soap on the shampoo dispenser. And they didn’t clean that for a while. Bathroom shower is rusty. Old furniture. Pool towels are old, pool is not clean. Idk overall all that money not sure if it was worth it. Food and drinks are ok. The only thing I liked was the location and the staff. "

"You have to pay to park in the parking garage unless you can find street parking. There was no street parking when we showed up so we had no choice but to pay the $15 a night parking "
