"Hotel cleanliness is top notch, as well as the amenities. Breakfast is awesome and plentiful with great options for all. A couple things to be aware of… Parking is not free unless you book through the hotel’s actual website. Also, your room will not be cleaned during your stay unless you inform the front desk the morning before. This was inconvenient for us because we have kids and a couple days passed w/o cleaning. When we addressed the issue with reception we were told that it was basically our fault because we didn’t read the entire pamphlet that was given to us upon check in. But, why doesn’t reception inform you of this important information upon check-in? Regardless, it was still a great stay and we would stay here again… and inform reception in the morning that we’d like our room cleaned the next day ;)"

"Check in was easy. Upgrade to fridge and microwave was accommodated for a reasonable fee. Room was well maintained and the staff was so friendly and helpful."

"Overall, the stay was pleasant, but there were a couple of areas that could be improved. The room could have been cleaned more thoroughly, and the water pressure in the shower was quite low. With a bit more attention to housekeeping and maintenance, the experience would be even better."

"We went for a family vacation and booked through Hotels.com. I believe we had lower quality rooms because of this. There was sand all over the floor when walking in. The floor was tile with no entry rug to stop it from spreading whenever you came in and out. The rain shower looks nice but there is no way to prevent it from leaking all over the bathroom floor. Mixing water with sand on your feet, you never feel truly clean. Not to mention all the sand that ends up in your bed and they never changed our sheets!! My child was afraid we would get bed bugs! The chest of drawers smelled like mildew so we lived out of our suitcases for 5 days! The storage in the room is terrible. Knowing people will need to hang wet items around, you would think there would be more options in the room to accommodate that. The resort is WAY OVER PRICED. They nickel and dime you for everything! "

"Rooms are false advertised. Paid extra for a balcony room and received a room they had a railing with no balcony. A lady was trying to get a drink from the cafe in the front area and one of the front desk ladies told her to go to the 7/11 across the street. Went to the beach and was told we could not get enough beach chairs to accommodate our party and were only allowed 2 chairs. We were a party of 9"

"I had a great stay at the Palmetto Inn & Suites. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the WiFi worked great with no issues. Overall, everything was smooth and enjoyable—definitely a good place to stay right on the beach!"
