"This was a very unique experience. The building was a former monastery from the 1100s. We stayed on one of the upper floors which had low-clearance, original beams. I’m 6’4” and had to duck a lot. Maybe that wouldn’t be too fun for an extended stay. It was nice to have a cathedral ceiling. I think this was only in a few rooms. Bed was typical German stiff and slightly uncomfortable. Breakfast buffet was one of the best of our trips so far. The Christmas market was only a 10 minute walk away. "

"Nice little hotel. Easy to find and check in. Room was very clean with plenty of room. On challenge was cooling the room. With windows wide open to the street facing room is very noisy to the traffic and church bells. With windows closed the room was too warm. "
