Överlag en bra båttur. Kryssning kan vi inte kalla det. Lyxig? Nja, lite att ta i. Kan behöva lite underhåll, men inget som stör. Rent och fint och vi sov gott. Mycket trevlig personal, utflykten dag 2 väldigt intressant. Tycker det fanns mat för alla (vi äter inte fiske el skaldjur).

Great fun on the Era boat!
The boat cruise was a fantastic experience for us. We were impressed by the professionalism and kindness of the crew and manager, who went out of their way to accommodate our needs and preferences. The food was amazing and abundant, and the activities were entertaining and diverse. We loved the views, and the atmosphere. The only minor drawback was that some of the hotel amenities were a bit outdated and damaged. For example, the shower glass was cracked and he refrigerator in our room was malfunctioning. I would still highly recommend this boat cruise to anyone who is looking for a fun and memorable vacation.

We really wanted to try a stay in Halong Bay for our trip and booked this cruise. However, our room was a little damaged. We had two twin beds, and one of the ottomans at the end of the bed had a massive yellow stain on it. In addition, one of the windows in our room had a long crack in it (it was probably around 4 feet long total and spanned most of the width of the window). Lastly, when we came in our AC wasn't working at all. Other than our room, the cruise felt very rushed and the food was plated / presented really well, but the quality of food was really low. Lots of chewy, poorly cooked meats. Our guide for the trip was fantastic and very outgoing, and loved his energy. However, everything else felt lack luster. In regards to travel, the schedule was not clearly communicated before the trip - we thought we would disembark around 930am and return to Hanoi around 1230pm, however we didn't dock at the marina again until 12pm. The shuttle service they provide to and from the marina also stops at a different, local place for a "bathroom break" for 30 minutes where it feels forced for tourists to buy souvenirs / food. This happened to us both on the way there and on the way back. Lastly, if you sit outside, you will be harassed by locals on boats trying to sell you snacks, drinks, etc. It was constant. Overall, we wouldn't book this cruise again. We would want to do 2 nights instead of 1, and try out a different cruise to see how the quality and experience might compare.

It Was Just Okay, Not The Best.
I would not say it is a luxurious cruise. No swimming pool on the deck, and food selection is quite scarce especially for us, Muslims. The arrangement is not synchronized. I had been dealing with tons of emails before the departure and when I arrived, they still got my name wrong. The lead tour, Duck could have been slightly nicer (found him to be fierce and sometimes rude when asked more questions). The program and activities were a little bit boring. Took us swimming and kayaking in a dirty part of the ocean. My towel got stained during the trip, and when asked for a new towel from the guide, Andrew, he refused to lend another with an excuse only one towel for one guest (although there were only 5 people in our group and they had around 40 towels on the boat). Viet Hai Village was the only fun thing on the trip. People who only stay for 1 night will not do Viet Village and the Bat Cave is really boring. I found a one-night itinerary is a bit too rushing though. The only thing I liked was the bathtub with jacuzzi inside my room by the glass window. Other than that, it was just okay and it was not a great experience for me.

Around the property was wet , the cruise was very nice great staff , delicious food and Halong Bay unique place. The only unexpected unmentioned was the transfer by boat from the terminal to the ship and back again after the cruise. Was bout 45 minutes each way on the slowest launch ever , no kidding we got passed by at least a dozen other launches making transfers . Dats it

Out of 600 odd options in Halong Bay we chose Era cruises. From Hanoi to Halong Bay and the cruise, everything was very well organised by Mr Duc and his team, It is an experience to remember. Team at Era cruise were so very helpful all along. The room itself was outstanding.

Unerwünschte Gruppentouristik
Diese Hotelübernachtung ‘Halong Bay’ ist auf dem Wasser. Suggeriert wird ein hochwertiges Schiff mit einem tollen Hotelzimmer (Schiffskabine in dem Fall). Era Cruises setzt sich dann schnell in Verbindung nach Buchung. Es entstehen dann Zusatzkosten, da man ja erst einmal zu dem Schiff muss. Zu dem Zweck fährt dann ein Shuttle von Hanoi welches einen vom Hotel abholt und dann wieder hinbringt. Die Fahrt dauert ca. 3h. Eine halbe davon Stunde ist ein nichtangekündigter Verkaufsstop auf einer Perlenfarm an der Autobahn. Genau das ist der Punkt, man kommt mit dieser Reise in die gelenkte Gruppentouristik. Das Schiff selbst ankerte in der Halong Bucht, mit einem Tenderschiff wurden alle Gäste, darunter eine Gruppe von 20 Personen vom Hafen in die Bucht gebracht. Es gab einen Reiseleiter der sich ganz auf die Gruppentouristik im Sinne von ständig guter Laune verbreiten (wir winken alle dem Personal des Schiffs zu, viele Witze usw.) konzentrierte. Die Schiffskabine hatte ca. 40qm gefühlt. Das Bad war gross. Der Wohnraum auch. Der Balkon sehr klein. Die Einrichtung war voller Staub und Haare und nicht sehr gepflegt. Das Wasser aus dem Waschbecken tröpfelte nur, Dusche schon stärker. Der Tresor war defekt, wurde auch nicht repariert. Eine grosse Scheibe war gesprungen.Das Schiff ist gefühlt ca. 20-30 Jahre alt. Leistungen: Lunch, Dinner, Frühstück. Das Schiff fährt kaum. Dazu gibt es noch mehrere Angebote (Kajak, Baden, Tai Chi, Grotte). Die Halong Bucht ist voller Schiffe.

Mr. Lee and his staff went above and beyond my expectations and hospitality experience. I’m finding that in just about any facility here in Vietnam, the level of excellence is slightly degraded, but only slightly. We had an incredible, beautiful room, and despite the lack of time our experience was filled with excursions and Activities keeping us busy for the full 24 to 30 hours we were with them. I would highly recommend anybody who wants the most luxurious and immense room with a Jacuzzi bathtub to melt your trip fatigue away from, book two nights with Era cruises. I can’t recommend them anymore than I already have for the experience, and the scenery was unmatchable. Thank you again, Mr. Lee and his staff.are definitely an A1 in my book. I went to Ha Long Bay on 1st December with my wife and we stayed in Era Cruise for 2 days 1 night. The overall experience was very good and was worth the price we payed. I must say that Era Cruise’s staff are remarkably skilled. We literally loved the hospitality. A special thanks to the two lovely ladies on reception at the night of 1st December 2022(Lee and Hoang), they literally walked an extra mile and helped me and my wife during the tough time. During the entire trip I saw them radiating positive vibes. The overall cruising experience was good. The first lunch that was served was superb. However, I was amazed by the staff, they were super helpful. Thank you for the lovely service Era Cruises! Special thanks to Lee and Hoang(Hopefully I am using the right names)

Hadde et fantastisk opphold her! Vi ble veldig positivt overrasket over hvor godt planlagt alt var. Rommene var mye større og finere enn forventet. Maten var veldig god, spesielt 5-rettets lunsjen! Crewey var hyggelig og hjelpsomme. Cruiset var absolutt verdt pengene og vi kunne fint gjort dette igjen!

이번 여행에 크루즈 1박을 선택한 건 너무 좋은 선택이었다. 서비스가 좋았고 특히 manager Henry & Moon이 모든 상황에 항상 친절하게 안내해줬고, 특별히 더 감사의 인사를 하고싶다. 다만 한 가지 아쉬웠던 것은 spa 였는데, 직원들이 베트남어로 대화하며 웃음을 참는 일은 앞으로는 있지 않았으면 좋겠다. 마사지도 성의있지 않았다.

We had an amazing 2 nights on the cruise. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our cruise director Jimmy and Henry were so helpful and remembered our names! They were always so helpful with my peanut allergy telling me what I couldn’t eat and making me a nut free option. The entire serving staff was so friendly, we can’t say enough good things about the cruise. Our room was huge and beautiful. Would definitely recommend!

Staff was fabulous, cruise was incredible so glad we did the 2 night cruise. Every guests that was leaving after the one night wished they booked 2 nights. Food was very good and plentiful. 2nd day we were on the large day boot the took us around on land. Best is to wake up in bed and look out from our floor to ceiling windows at the unobstructed view
