Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und alles sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und durchdacht. Wir konnten hier auch kostenlos Waschen und hatten seht viel Freude an den lieben Katzen, die immet auf der Veranda lagen. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Zimmer.

The room was very clean, with an incredible view. There was a kitchenette in the room and a full kitchen ready to use in the main house. Every morning the owners brought bananas, lychees and eggs....it's a remote and extremely beautiful area. We will come again.

The property grounds were beautiful and serene. We were so happy we chose this place outside the hustle and bustle of Hilo. The trip into Hilo was about 20 minutes, but the drive was beautiful and worth the peacefulness of the property. There were many sites to see within a few miles, such as Akaka falls and the Botanical Gardens.

Our stay at Mahana House was wonderful! Beautiful setting, room was clean, very comfortable bed and we had our own private lanai and small kitchen, as well as use of the common full kitchen, great room and lanai. Every possible thing we could have needed was available to us. It is obvious the owners put a lot of thought into our comfort. An easy 20 drive in to Hilo. Thank you, Mahana House, for a fabulous stay! I highly recommend!!!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very nice, spotless, and well maintained. You can really tell the host puts a lot of care into the home. On top of that, the owner is an incredibly kind person who has adopted disabled cats — which honestly made the experience even more special. Such a big heart and genuine hospitality. Highly recommend staying here, and we would absolutely come back!
