“Spent 2 nights with family in January 2026, way off season. Loved the location - very quiet, but just 4 minutes drive to downtown and the mall. Very comfortable beds, used the smart TV to entertain the kid with Netflix, Youtube etc. There was a fridge and a microwave which are always good to have. The only tiny issue was a fancy faucet in the bathroom that was spilling water off the sink when not fully open - I was told ongoing renovations would take care of that. “We’ve stayed here for one night. The receptionist is quite friendly, small terrace water front view is good however there are lots of fly at front door of room. It’s scary as we need to open/close door quickly, otherwise the fly will run into room. When I talked with the female receptionist, she said they also feel weird but nothing there to attract fly though. All we can do is using the mosquito racket to catch fly…. And if you have heavier luggage, no elevator only stairs. Besides there are……

“Very nice place with a balcony facing the ocean. Beautiful sunset to watch from your room. Staff are very helpful (Sager was so friendly to talk to and very helpful in giving us tips to travel around). I would choose to stay at The Oceanside again when I go back to the Sunshine Coast.”
