Excellent location just a block behind the train/bus station. Free buffet breakfast that was actually good and varied each day. Free drinks throughout the rest of the day, including filtered water and hot drink machine. Downstairs common area is relaxing and well maintained. Room was large for Japan. You could comfortably open suitcases and still have room to walk around. Beds are also larger than other hotels. We booked 2 twin beds and they were also similar to a double size. Pillows are very flat though.

We stayed 2 weeks, the staff were fantastic. Always greated with a smile and to make sure our stay was great. Great breakfast, plenty of food and tables to for everyone. Location is very convenient for transportation, few minutes to trains and buses. Plenty of restaurant options and shopping very nearby. Hammamatsu has a lot to offer and comfort hotel was fantastic.

Hotel is offering free breakfast. Hotel is nicely decorated, especially in the dining area and lobby. Room is nice. Staffs are friendly and healpful, able to communicate in English. Check in process is fast and easy.

Automatic check in/outs were convenient, The suitcase safer was also easy to understand. The first floor cafe runs until midnight with unlimited beverages and coffees. Breakfast is also not bad.

Large room at a great price

The hotel was excellent. The rooms were large and comfortable. One member of our party had a walking disability and had a difficult time entering the bath because there were no grab handles. Other than that, everything was great.

We stayed 2 nights at the Comfort Hotel, which is only a few minutes walk from Hamamatsu Station. The lobby and lounge area are bright and spacious. Check-in was efficient, and the reception staff was professional and friendly. We took Standard Twin rooms, and there was ample space even with 2 pieces of luggage per person. Room and bathroom both very clean. The beds, pillows, and sleepwear were very comfortable. The spacious desk and numerous USB charging ports were very helpful. Used the self-serve laundromat , which was clean, easy to use, and efficient. Good breakfast with sufficient choice. Will recommend without reservation.

Pro: welcoming and helpful staff, clean and comfort, good location, discount parking, quiet. Con: No information on the website that the discounted parking fee is only for one time entry, No room service for three days, Only towels were provided in a plastic bag for three days. Had to keep my trash in my room for three days, Had to go to the reception desk by myself to pick up an extra pillow. The breakfast buffet was simple and the food options had no harmony together but just random choices of breakfast food, Body soap instead of hand soap in the room. In general the atmosphere felt like a guesthouse level of service rather than a Hotel.

Hotel is one block away from main train station which allows for easy rail and bus travel, access to excellent tourist information centre, plus numerous restaurants and shops. Breakfast in the hotel is very nice buffet style with more seating than other similar sized hotels. Nice downstairs area for relaxing. Room was clean and comfortable and was just the right size for me. One very minor downside though with my room was that the refrigerator was a little bit too noisy at times, so I had to switch it off overnight to help me sleep. Hotel has a laundry/vending room with 4 washers and 4 dryers which was ideal. Unrelated to hotel but note buses in Hamamatsu didn’t accept IC cards such as Suica - cash or credit cards okay though. Comfort Hotel definitely lived up to its name as it was comfortable and relaxing - would definitely stay there again, so a recommendation from me !

Reasonable hotel near Hamamatsu

Room was clean and service was efficient. Location is a short walk from Hamamatsu station. Hotel had enough staff. Room was small, like a typical Japanese business hotel, but a bit larger, and so was the desk space. Breakfast was similar to the common US hotel breakfast (low cost, low maintenance), but it was managed much better and the staff maintained it very well even though it was very crowded. Overall, this is a good value for the price.
