Disliked: Room comfort
Overrated - Not worth the $$
bed was hard as a rock, absolutely awful for a $600 a night hotel..golf courses were beautiful though
A great trip to Grand Cascades! The pool is absolutely incredible and the service in general is amazing.
Great job with masks and social distancing. We went a Sunday through Tuesday and barely saw other guests. Staff all wearing masks over their noses.
Over priced and not worth a two night/three day stay.... where do I begin... first let’s start with when we arrived the pool was closed for what reason I don’t know ... secondly really wanted to do so many activities and tried to reserve all of them and they were all booked up for the weekend ???? How do you not state on your website that reservations are a must for all activities. As a person who has never been to this hotel I assure you I didn’t just imagine I was paying 1500 dollars for a room for two nights and to use a pool! Ridiculous. Not to mention that both restaurants were also reserved up for dinner so my boyfriend and I had to go off hotel resort and get dominos some where. Over all the hotel was pretty DONT get me wrong .. but I could of easily paid half of what we paid for a better experience and more activities some where else! Wish we really could of did the wine tour or class or even the yoga. LETS also mention the spa was completely booked up for the whole weekend and we couldn’t even get massages. When a week prior to my reservation I called the spa and no one got back to me until the day of my stay. Overall not worth my time.

At this price point, this is not the relaxing adult vacation we were thinking of. Small children crowding the pools. A child in only underpants in the biosphere pool. No adult pool. Large families with lots of children. Resort seemed to be run by teenagers, with 20 year olds at front desk. No chair to sit on in our room. Only one wastebasket. No hotel information in room. I’ve stayed at other hotels at one third the price that were better appointed and just as nice. Grounds are beautiful. This resort has great possibilities, but needs much better management.
I would advise anyone planning on staying here not to. There’s a valet who doesn’t park cars. Just stands there on his phone not even acknowledging guest unless they’re white. The front desk staff is rude and I believe it’s because we were black. They gave us a room the size of a closet with no microwave, hair dryer or a refrigerator. When we asked to upgrade they told us we can only do it through Expedia. We called Expedia and they told us the hotel has to do that. Expedia called the hotel and the front desk never answered the phone. We called housekeeping and the room service number throughout our stay and not once they picked up the phone. The food was the only ok thing on the trip because one of the waiters was sweet and the host. I would never come back here or bring my family here on a trip.

Excellent customer service and clean place
Definitely we come back soon😁
We had a great time, room was nice and large. Full kitchen, no microwave though.... bed was comfy, some of the other furniture not so much. Pool is awesome, we all enjoyed it... most of the staff was accommodating, some wasn't going the extra mile....a/c units are very loud. Bathrooms are nice, some fixtures need to be updated (toilet, shower) . Could install larger jacuzzi tub. Overall good experience, great views...
The room I was given was at the end of a hallway and the hallway was under construction. The room across from us was being renovated and there was noise coming from that as well. Then on Sunday our housekeeper did not come until 4:30 and we were already in our room with a pizza and we sent her away. When I tried to contact management to discuss these issues they did not even address my concerns. Very poor management. I am so disspointed.
Property was great and scenic with a wonderful indoor outdoor pool.
Needs more affordable dining options. The hotel stay is not cheap, so the food and drinks should be more reasonable. People are probably leaving the resort to eat elsewhere which is just frustrating.
Very nice place for getaway. The room was super clean and nice furnished. The property is well maintained. The only disappointing that during the weekdays the hours for pools and spa are not convenient and only one restaurant is open.
Felt really crowded compared to times before. Also felt some of the standards werent the same. Garbage was wheeled by us while sitting in the lobby. Check in was at 4 and they had no room in storage to put your bags/change/enjoy amenities before check in. Springs was a great meal. Tavern only “ok”. Nothing majorly wrong just felt a notch below prior visits for the amount you are spending.
Beautiful grounds and lodge. My room was perfect except that my tv kept losing its picture. It kept getting scrambled and then telling me signal was lost. And the pool table was missing one of the balls.
It was in a very nice location, close to Warwick, NY, which was a great place to visit. Overall, the resort was nice. The restaurant hours were odd, there was only 1 open on Sunday evening which I found strange. I think what frustrated me was the miscommunication/lack of information among staff. Concierge gave information on shuttles for the Oktoberfest and then the valets had no idea about anything. That happened on a couple of occasions during our stay where different people didn't know information. The property was well kept and people were friendly. I think we felt out of place in an upscale resort and we were taking our first break since having our second baby earlier this year. Lovely place but we will likely stay elsewhere next time. Just wasn't for us.
The rooms were very clean , restraunt was good , order coffee took an 1hour to get. Went there to enjoy a day relaxing by pool. That didn't turn out so good . Dont mind children but place over run at pool. Understand biosphere is back to nature but the swarms of yellow jackets just insane., in my fruit salad, tried to enjoy a margarita and be landed in and that was the end of that. Wont be back Went back to room.Enjoyed apple picking at farm
It was pleasant. When you arrive you may find the rooms extremely outdated, with a funky smell, but it give it a chance. By day 2 or 3 it’s much more comfortable. I did have to clean the vase decorations in the room. They were filthy with tons of dust. After that the stay was much more comfortable.
The property is beautiful, the grounds, the pools...spectacular!
I went for an overnight visit, only one restaurant was open. In my opinion, all of the restaurants should be open everyday. And there were no adult amenities open either. Again, they should be available everyday as well. It was quite frustrating! The staff at the front desk could be a little more personable. Not that they were rude, they were matter of fact and cold. Not very helpful when we asked a question.
