Stayed in a duplex suite and it was outstanding. The photos on the website don’t do it justice. The view over the Alster is magnificent. The bathroom is vast with a powerful shower and fantastic toiletries by (Malin+Goetz). My 9 year old received just as warm a welcome, with his sofa bed made up, a monster-inspired cupcake, kids robe and slippers. A huge range at breakfast with super-friendly staff who gave my kid the right level of attention.

The Meridien is a very clean, modern place with a beautiful views of the Aussenalster in Hamburg. The pool and spa are great, and the breakfast and bar are fantastic, but pricey.

There were two main issues. The first was a clogged sink in the bathroom along with a leak on the back of the sink that seeped water onto the floor. The sink took a long time to drain. It was almost completely plugged. Another issue was a beeping sound intermittently coming from the room safe. The staff were excellent. The food was also very good. The only issues are noted above.

Brilliant hotel. Views were amazing ! Breakfast was great. Shame we didn’t get to eat in the restaurant with it being fully booked. Spa nice and relaxing. Room service was good. Bed not too comfortable. Pillows need refreshing and headboard collected a lot of dust. Extractor not working in bathroom and not sure how to use air con / heating Would go again

En øv oplevelse.

Overordnet var vi bestemt ikke tilfredse, prisen var tilsvarende de bedste hoteller rundt omkring i Europa - men det var slet ikke på det niveau. Fik et værelse hvor elevatoren tæt på, larmede så meget - at det lød som om vi sov under en trafikeret bro. Puderne var kun pyntepuder og umulige at sove med. Servicen var heller ikke særlig brugbar, da vi spurgte ind til spisesteder og hjælp generelt. Beliggenheden var dog rigtig fin. Men kommer der bestemt ikke igen.
