Great stay at Curringa Farm

We had a fantastic couple of days at the Curringa Farm. The chalet is well-located (far off the main road), big and well-equipped enough for a much longer stay. It has all necessary amenities. We also enjoyed a generous barbecue hamper on the second day. It is not too far from the walks at Mount Field national park.

It's the second time we stayed in Curringa Farm after 13 years. It's still as wonderful. Jane and Tim are very friendly and helpful as always. The two-hour farm tour is a must to join and it's very informative. And watching the night sky full of stars and even aurora is truly enjoyable. A must place to visit in Tasmania.

We loved our stay at Curringa Farm. The cottage we had was plenty large for our family of 6 pax and clean and very well furnished. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook up a quick meal and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the farm with the scones the next day. Our kids loved their farm visit and being able to feed the alpacas & highland cows & chickens. Thanks for a lovely time. :)

It was amazing! The house was big and spacious. Quiet and comfortable. The farm tour was great, just abit costly. The house has quite a number of crawling insect during the night time. Otherwise it was a great experience!

The rural sheep farm offered quiet, a modern cabin, excellent food dinner, a wonderful farm tour that included wallabies, echidnas, a sheepdog herding demonstration, and an up-close sheep shearing demonstration. The owner is gracious and informative in several languages. We spent 2 nights enjoying comfortable beds and the calls of many interesting birds and animals. Nearby we can also recommend the gin distillery tasting and hiking the 3 waterfalls at Mt. Field national park.

Many insects came out in the house even we had closed all windows and doors. All ladies were very frighten and screamed. We had no means but found a vacuum cleaner to suck all insects as we could. It's a terrible night!

Excellent farm cottage

A wonderful stay in curringa farm! Beautiful and romantic cottage, fantastic view, love to have the sheep and wildlife nearby! Great to have the BBQ but advised to have supply in bigger supermarket beforehead. So regret to miss the farm tour coz only got the notice email on that morning . Definitely will come again

It is a great place for us as we never lived in any farm before. Tim, Jane and their staffs are very nice and I still remembered their face now ! We stayed a night at “Wedgetail Wings” with a fantastic views. You can see some gang of sheep outside your cottage. Besides, the beautiful sunset also amazing. The farm tour is very interesting, including the explanation on crop growing and shearing demonstration etc. Furthermore, you can found their dogs very cute and well trained during the farm tour. Last but not least, highly recommend this Farm !

Very satisfactory to the stay in the farm.

The cottage and the environment were excellent. The farm operator was very helpful. We encountered power failure during the stay. The farm operator and his assistant were very positive in resuming the power supply within two hours. Their efforts were highly appreciated.

Nice stay

Everything is good. You seems sleeping with the sheep. The view is wonderful. The facilities are nice and good. We enjoyed it very much. Just one tiny problem, the hot water supply is not enough if both bathrooms are used at the same time. You need to wait for almost an hour to recharge the heater again. On the whole, its a pleasant stay and i hope i can come again.

一個愉快的住宿

是一個享受大自然的好地方，又可以參加農場為旅客們安排的日間活動接近大自然，剪羊毛，與羊群合照，農莊主人的三隻狗非常友善並且是領羊犬！農莊主人安排的食物更是美味可口，如果大家想享受一個充電的假期，可到此農莊住一個晚上！

A several scorpion come in home and there with some flys when night. The water is comes from river so a bit yellowish. But this is the farm nature. We still feel comfortable for stay here as all is clean here and nice farm view. Owner prepared many home made bread, salad and some food for us to cook for breakfast that’s feel so warm. And we took many galaxy photo at night!
