「We told the host we would arrive after 6pm in Nov and she was there greeting us as soon as we arrived. We liked the kitchen which got all the cooking wares but not sure if there is cooking oil or seasonings. The electric stove was slow to turn on. The host has provided the eggs, milk, tea bags, coffee and juice as well as bread in two sandwich boxes so we could prepare our breakfast. Everywhere in the house, kitchen and bathroom are clean. 「Our family enjoyed the stay at this delightfully large home in New Norfolk. Plenty of room for us all the enjoy quiet times. Easy access to river and cliff walks. Great markets on a Saturday morning. Possums are in abundance. The only thing I would recommend is some outdoor sensor lights as we arrived late, and it was a bit tricky accessing the lock box in the dark and finding our way around. Other than that it was a lovely stay.」

「This is a great place to stay. So much history. The library is amazing. The cottage was built in the mid 1800’s. So it’s vey old. But certainly worth staying. Even electric blankets on the beds. 」

「Fantastic property right by the Tyenna River. Our family of 4 enjoyed using the it as a base to explore the surrounding areas. The river was a big hit with the kids trying their luck at fishing. The cottage was clean, warm and comfortable. Thank you for sharing this special spot with us, we loved our stay.」

「We stayed for a week at Serenity and loved our time there. It is exactly as the pictures show. Plenty of room and unique features. The deck has a wonderful view and the location is great also.」

「This was a great stay between Strahan and Hobart and close to the Mt Field National Park, where we did Russell and Horseshoe falls. The accomodation was clean and very comfortable. It was great to look over the fields where the alpacas lived to the mountains. The accommodation had everything we needed to be comfortable and we were instructed on what was available food wise before we came, as there are not many options once you get to Maydena. Highly recommend this place to stay.」

「This lovely clean home was a great base for exploring Mount Field National Park and also the Maydena Bike park is next door. Great as a family/ group stay. Everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. As a couple we just closed off the other 3 rooms and it felt cosy. Very warm with lots of heating options. ( Electric heaters in every room, air conditioner and log wood fire?) Great washer and dryer for cleaning muddy hiking gear. Lovely timber kitchen table. Friendly and helpful...
