Mrezga

Mrezga offers a relaxed beachfront escape in Hammamet with golden Mediterranean shores and budget-friendly resorts. Omar Khayam Beach draws visitors with its clean swimming conditions and water sports. Hotel complexes feature palm-lined grounds and refreshing pools just steps from your room. Families appreciate the quiet atmosphere and all-inclusive options that make holiday costs predictable. Mediterranean breezes cool sun-filled days spent between beach and pool. Though lacking Tunisian authenticity, Mrezga provides comfortable access to Hammamet's cultural attractions nearby.

The beachfront promenades offer perfect strolls between palm trees and colourful parasols. Large all-inclusive resorts provide pools, spas, and direct beach access for travellers seeking relaxation. Water sports, evening entertainment at hotel bars, and fresh seafood restaurants create a complete holiday experience in this walkable coastal paradise.

Hammamet Sud

Hammamet Sud is a sun-drenched resort paradise where golden beaches meet the turquoise Mediterranean. Palm-fringed hotel complexes line the shore, creating a vibrant beachfront scene. The area features all-inclusive resorts with pools, spas, and direct beach access. Visit the historic Hammamet Fort or browse Hammamet Souk for local crafts and souvenirs. Resort restaurants serve fresh seafood and traditional Tunisian specialities while hotel entertainment provides cultural shows in the evenings.

Hammamet Intérieure

Step into Hammamet Intérieure's ancient medina where whitewashed buildings with blue shutters line narrow cobblestone streets. The impressive 15th-century Kasbah fortress dominates the skyline. Traditional artisans hammer copper and weave textiles in hidden courtyards and centuries-old workshops. The vibrant souks offer handmade carpets, pottery, and aromatic spices at prices well below resort areas. Authentic restaurants serve couscous and tagines in intimate settings. Most visitors explore on foot, as the winding alleys create a truly immersive cultural experience away from modern distractions.

Steigenberger Marhaba Thalasso

Steigenberger Marhaba Thalasso

8/10 Good
"This is a good hotel that is having trouble keeping up standards. The staff are usually very helpful, and the beach is one of the best. However, so many small things were annoying. Even as we arrived, the receptionist had written down our room number ambiguously in a way that caused us and the porter to go to the wrong room. The first few days were hot even by Tunisian standards and the room air conditioning could not cope. It was always too loud, but at least was fine as the temperature dropped. Food smells were strong from the balcony or the halls. The shower door allowed water to flood out after use - this was fixed after we complained, but proof of poor maintenance. Our room card stopped working after exactly seven days - even though the hotel knew how long we were staying. If their policy is just to grant seven days access they must tell us surely? One of the most annoying things was the ATM never worked for us, or anyone else. This would be no issue in many places, but the Steigenberger is isolated and needs a drive to get to a working ATM in the town. The basic standard of the food was fine, but there was a lack of actual Tunisian food in favour of bland euro stuff. Unforgivably, there was no decent coffee - only instant Nescafe - completely unforgivable in a country with good coffee, For this reason alone, I won't return. We think the small beach restaurant gave us a stomach bug from hygiene problems. These could all be fixed, but limit your stay until then!"
