Residence: Our campsite is beautifully green and lies in the middle of nature and has a beautiful view over the river Indalsälven, which offers you the peace and proximity of nature. The campsite is beautifully situated in the valley between Östersund and Sundsvall along the Indalsläven. It is about an hour's drive in both directions. Hammarstrands camping has 30 pitches with electricity, 6 tent pitches without electricity on grassland. At the campsite we also have 4x4 persons cabins and 2 double cabins that can be rented for 1 night or longer. There are various watertap points at the campsite. The entire campsite is well lit. A little bit further down about 100 meters we have another 2 person villa for rent.

There is plenty to do in the area both summer and winter some examples are, Döda Fallet, Thai pavilion, various hiking routes, fishing, loppis, geocaching. Beautifully situated campsite between Östersund and Sundsvall near the town Hammarstrand on the river Indalsälven in Jämtland, Sweden. We are a small campsite with 32 spacious caravan / motorhome pitches with electricity. We have a separate field for tents for more peace. We rent 4 stugor / cabins (4 beds) 25 m 2, 2 2 stugor / cabins (2 beds) 16 m 2 and a luxury stugor / cottage 45 m 2 with private shower, toilet, kitchen and TV. We have a private beach on the river Indalsälven for swimming. We have a nice and clean heated sanitary building with 5 free showers and 7 toilets, a separate opportunity, with washer and dryer. We also have a fully equipped kitchen with 2 electric hotplates with oven, microwave and enough space to do the dishes. We have a cafe with a covered terrace where you can eat or drink coffee, a snack (FIKA), or eat a delicious Swedish ice cream. Dogs are welcome. In Indalsälven you can go fishing or you can explore the river by canoe or by boat. We also rent canoes and a motorbot. In the months of June, the adjoining heated pool is free for July and August. There is plenty to do in the area both in summer and winter, some examples are Döda Fallet, Thai, gazebo, several hiking trails, fishing, geocaching, Loppis. Between Östersund and Sundsvall lies Hammarstrand If you come from Östersund road number 87, it is 100 km to Hammarstrand. If you come from Sundsvall road number 86, it is 120 km to Hammarstrand. From the road number 87, take the exit to Hammarstrand, cross the Indalsälven river, turn right after the bridge, after 300 meters, turn right again, this is a dirt road but good to do with caravans and big campers. You drive this way and after 500 meters you will find Hammarstrands campsite. If you come from Bräcke road number 323 then you turn left before the bridge and after 300 meters, turn right again, this is a dirt road but good to do with caravans and big campers. Accommodation: Op Hammarstrands camping hebben we een gezellige 2/4 persoons stuga's. In deze stuga's staan twee heerlijke boxspring bedden en een twee persoons slaapbank. een eethoek, een gezellige zit hoek. Voor de stuga is een love seat en er staan stoelen en een tafel er is een eigen vuurplaats In de stuga is een koelkast, twee elektrische kookplaten borden, pannen, bestek, verlichting, verwarming en er is stroom aanwezig. Wij verhuren bedlinnen. Als u daar handdoeken bij wil dan kost het totaal €10.00. Maar u kunt ook uw eigen beddengoed en handdoeken gebruiken. De stuga's moeten voor vertrek schoongemaakt worden, wij kunnen dit ook voor u doen. Aankomst na 15.00 uur en vertrek voor 12.00 uur. Als u in de stuga overnacht kunt u gebruik maken van ons verwarmd service gebouw, ons service gebouw heeft een volledig ingerichte keuken waar ook gezellige tafeltjes staan waar de maaltijd genuttigd kan word. Verder heeft ons sanitair gebouw 5 verwarmde gratis douches waarvan 1 een invalide toilet en douche is. Er zijn 8 toiletten aanwezig. Tegen een kleine vergoeding kan u gebruikmaken van de wasmachine en droger. U kunt ook een dag van te voren een ontbijt bestellen.
