    The open-concept living space features crisp white interiors, comfortable furnishings, and large windows that bring the outdoors in. After a day spent surfing, exploring Hanalei Bay, or biking through town, come home to unwind in the private yard, grill dinner on the BBQ, or enjoy a peaceful outdoor meal around the dining table surrounded by tropical greenery. The home also includes split-unit A/C for added comfort, a fully equipped kitchen, and a drip coffee maker for slow island mornings.

    Happy Shack comfortably sleep with one queen bed two twin beds & double size day bed in living room making it perfect for couples, small families, or friends looking for an easygoing Kauai getaway. Guests can also enjoy the use of surfboards and two bikes to fully experience the beauty and lifestyle of Hanalei. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Happy Shack is the perfect place to stay in Hanalei. We absolutely loved the house - great craftsmanship, modern, nice layout, very comfortable. The outdoor shower was one of our favorite features - awesome! A/C was excellent. Well-stocked with everything: kitchen, laundry, beach supplies. The location was perfect for the beach, nice and quiet, easy walk to restaurants, shops, grocery store. You really don't need to look elsewhere - this is the place to stay in Hanalei.
