    An elevated position allows you to enjoy the beautiful views...
    A cedar hot tub is situated in a very private tranquil part of the section. Please note the hot tub is an additional cost of $30 per night.
    This 2-story holiday home offers plenty of space with four bedrooms located on the first floor. Relax indoors in the open plan living area complete with modern furnishings and a great log burner. Enjoy the balcony complete with a BBQ for an easy meal after a day of adventure, followed by a soak in the hot tub.

    Local cafes, restaurants, spa treatments, and the Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa are all within a few minutes walking distance. Venture out for a bushwalk or go off-road for a mountain bike or 4WD tour. For the adrenaline junkies white water rafting or bungy jumping is on the ‘must-do list.

    Bedroom configuration: Bedroom one 1 x queen bed, king single bed with a single trundle bed this can be joined together to make a king bed. Bedroom two 1 x queen bed and a cot. Bedroom three 1x queen bed. Bedroom Four 1x double bed and a king single. For additional guests, there is a single foam mattress and a couch that folds flat suitable for one person.

    PLEASE NOTE: The loft is situated above the lounge and access to it is a ladder that requires supervision when children are using it.

    NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave; Bring your linen (towels/sheets/tea towels)

    NOTE: There are security cameras on the exterior of the house, they are located at the front entrance door and the back balcony door.

    NOTE: There will be a charge of NZ$150 damage deposit incase the property was left uncleaned

The hot tub was a bonus. Beds were comfortable. No dishwasher. Property is showing its age. All bedrooms are downstairs which can make them cold in the winter but they do supply electric blankets. Log fire kept it very warm upstairs. Probably not great for the elderly due to steps and stairs. Front door entrance and steps to it could do with a tidy up and a covered porch.

Had a group of 7 adults, there were plenty of sleeping spots, great cooking utilities and heating options provided. Only critique is that the loft has not had proper cleaning in some time and so has an off putting smell.

Great place to stay

Love this house, love the view, the ease of access to Conical Hill and the walking tracks. It's well laid out with the bedrooms downstairs, plenty of comfy beds, fire place upstairs which allows the house to get really warm, the kids loved the loft. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The hot tub was awesome too. Loved the stay. Thank you :)

it was great thank you, once the fire was sorted. The downstairs bathroom was pretty dirt with mould. We have cleaned it. Blankets and heating etc in the frosts were wonderful. Kitchen great. Thank you very much.

Nice home and getaway

Home is nice, view is beautiful, just a few small complaints. The driveway is only designed for Suv's and trucks with ground clearance. This needs to be noted as my car got damaged. The camera facing out onto the deck felt a bit invasive.Towels,bedsheets and spa really needs to be included in the vost. anf

Great Location

Communication with host was terrible. Also, I knowing that 10 people were going to be there for 2 nights we were left with 4 toilet rolls. Spa wasnt working when i requested it via text and bookabach message. Only to be advised at 11pm the nignt we got there it hasnt been working for ages. The spa was one of the reasons we chose that property.

18th birthday trip

Was a great place with large bedrooms and living space. Was very homely and the AC was great during the summer since it is downstairs with all the bedrooms. Close to the town but yet u feel like your in your own secluded area. Was a bit dirty as there was some vomit left on the outside of the upstairs toilet from previous occupants. As well as the vacuumes don’t work very well. But overall was a nice house especially for the very good price

Solid little Hanmer bach

Nice solid bach with some amazing views in a great part of Hanmer. 4 proper bedrooms with tons of beds, and extra couches for kids who like to shift in the night! Bedrooms are all on ground floor with a bathroom, living/dining room on first level with deck and a loft above living room. Loft ladder is a vertical ladder on wall with no sides and loft has no way to lock it or secure so active supervision of young kids required. Flooring has no insulation so any light sleepers will hear every footstep from living area. Outdoor hot tub is good but an extra $30 a day to use. Would recommend and happily stay again - thanks!

It's a big and quiet property, good size bedrooms, two bathrooms one upstairs one downstairs, shower space is small, lounge is nice, like the balcony upstairs, has a nice view of the mountains, very warm and comfortable to sleep at night. However, the whole house can be cleaner, bedroom furniture really needs an upgrade or fresh paint over again, kitchen stove was the big problem for us it kept turning off when I were using the oven so we couldn't cook multiple dishes at the same time, it took us over 2 hours to finish cooking that could get done within 45mins, even though we made contact with Amie and she gave us tips regarding the stove, it was still troublesome. Just before we checked out, we had to clean the whole house and put everything back to where they were, that was a bit too much on top of the payment. Overall, it is an interesting experience.
