The hotel is very centrally located in the old part of Hanoi. The hotel has some charm with the decor, but is of poor standard and poor ventilation. Moreover, the electricity is very poor and does not work all the time! The cleaning is under standard and there are no breakfast options in the hotel. Not recommendable !!

Hi Jarly, Thank you for your stay and review! Regarding the electricity problem during your stay at our hotel, it was because of one fire in a restaurant down on the street, they had to cut down the electricity suddently to fix the fire. Also we do provide breakfast at the cost of only US$3/person.

숙소 위치만 좋고 전반적으로 안좋음
디럭스룸을 예약 했으나 아무런 말도 없이 수페리어룸으로 줬네요. 바꿔 달라고 하니 모른척하다 방이 풀로 차서 없다하고 별루임 욕실은 사방이 곰팡이 일회용품은 너무 오래되어 보이고 지저분함. 커피포트는 너무 더러워서 도저히 사용할 수가 없어요. 단 하나 좋은점은 맥주거리 가깝고 호수 가깝고 위치는 정말 좋아요. 잠만 자겠다면 그냥 자도 됨.^^

The hotel was fantastic. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, rooms are beautiful. The bathroom is large enough and clean.Good location too. My 2nd visit was as good as my first. Would come back again.

The Halong Bay Sapa package that the hotel organized for us was better than what we expected. They pick us up and drop us off at the hotel. Breakfast was included, airport drop off was also included, what a great value deal. We found out many other small travel agents on the street selling crazy cheap tours but we were still replied on the Atrium, you should know you will get what you pay for. This hotel is really do good service.

Great hotel in Ha Noi old quarter. There are a lot of shops and restaurants near by. Staff were very helpful and friendly to accommodate our travel plans. Rooms are decent and tidy, would recommend this place!

Outstanding place right in the central of Hanoi, very clean, with great presentation and facilities, extremely friendly and helpful staff. We had to stay in this hotel because our flight had delayed and we had to find some place for the night. We read some good reviews about the hotel so we booked for a room. Room was not that clean. Bathroom was flooded when I entered the room. Room was pretty dark. It was the last room available on that night, so other rooms could be better.

I stayed here for just one night. There is escalator but we needed to climb up the stairs to reach the lift. The staff didn't even offer help. The lift is really small. With just 2 persons and a luggage, it'll be fully loaded. I actually didn't feel safe while in the lift. Room isn't sound proof. Stay was ok for the price paid. I didn't get a chance to explore the area as I checked in at 11pm and checked out at 7am on the next day.

Hotel close to the old quarter in hanoi
The hotel is close to the old quarter in ha noi. Less than a mile to the famous Sword Lake. If you like anthentic vietnamese food, you come to the right area. The room is big enough for 4 people. The cleaniness is ok to me. You can't expect a lot for a reasonable price. I definitely come back to this hotel when i visit ha noi.

I have stayed at the Atrium several times, and will again. This particular room was way too warm, even with the AC, although the outside temperature was quite cool. I'll book a better room next time.

En arrivant au Vietnam et pour découvrir Hanoï, cet hôtel est bien placé puisque en plein vieux quartier d' Hanoï. Les chambres sont propres et faites tous les jours, le personnel parle un peu anglais. Interressant pour 3-4 jours .

Second stay. Feels like home.
Our first experience was great so we came back. Just as good the second time. We got to check in early after arriving on an overnight train. Getting to know the neighborhood - close to everything in the old quarter.

Inexpensive, pleasant stay in the Old Quarter
Not a 5-star hotel by any stretch of the imagination, but it lived up to all my expectations and had a friendly, helpful staff besides. Some difficulty communicating, but patience on both sides works. I'll be back.

굉장히 비추 1. 침대 스프링이 안좋아서 느낌이 그대로 느껴짐 2. 베개가 엄청 높고 동그래서 목이 아픔 3. 모든 호텔 서비스가 같은 지역 다른 호텔에 비해 바가지가 심함 (Ex. 빨래, 오토바이 렌트, 버스예약 등) 4. 방음이 엄청 안됨 5. 환기가 엄청 안됨 6. 호텔프론트 지키는 아줌마 한명 엄청 불친절. 방 값 바가지 씌우려다 뽀록나니까 되려 화를 냄.

낮에 더워서 잠시 들어가서 머문 호텔
하노이 주변 호텔, 숙박업소 여러군데를 돌아다녔지만 가격도 비싸고 호텔컨디션도 별로 좋지 않았는데 익스피디아에서 싼가격에 그냥 하루 숙박구매하고 잠시 들어가서 쉬다가 나왔어요. 에어컨도 빵빵해서 시원하고 물도 잘나오고 좋았어요. 들어갈 때 로비에서 무슨 공사(수리)를 하고 있어서 체크인 확인하느라 기다리는 시간까지는 시끄러웠는데 방에 들어가니 수리를 멈춰주신건지 조용하더라구요. 직원도 친절하고 만족합니다^^

Avoid.
We were faced with booking here as a result of extending our stay in Hanoi for our Ha Long Bay cruise and our previous hotel being full. While the location was a short walk from where we were previously staying, I would not recommend this hotel!!! It has bones that would suggest once being a beautiful place but present day its falling apart and dated. Between the uncleaned washroom, to the elevator only being large enough for one person to being startled at 10 pm as the staff on site decided to start drilling and construction, it was a terrible one night stay! The worst part was when many (read: everyone) had to leave their rooms and beg the construction crew to stop drilling after the reception desk staff dismissed each persons' complaint. Many of us had early travel plans and I was abosoutely taken aback that we (and the reminder of the hotel guests) had to be the one's to beg for the construction to stop, which was no easy feat. Very unprofessional and frustrating experience - WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Quiet Colonial style
I moved to this hotel after a bad experience at another Hanoi hotel. I chose the Atrium because it had a lift. Because of its old Colonial atrium style it is a very quiet hotel with no traffic/street noise entering the bedrooms. The staff and owner went out of their way to make my visit and experience in their hotel a positive one. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and look forward to staying there again after thry commence their planned renovations.

Good location in old quarters
Apart from the excellent location in downtown Hanoi, this hotel has quiet rooms. However, a major drawback is the lack of natural light (no windows) and some bulbs needing replacement. Water pressure is low in the top flocons but is adequate in the lower ones. If you get the rooms at discounted price, it is then worth the investment.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was large & spacious. The bathroom was ok just quite old and in need of a bit of renovation. Nothing particularly wrong with it though. Breakfast is available at a small cost but turned out to be bread or vegetables so we didn't bother. free tea & coffee whenever you wanted.

Hôtel au calme et bien placé
Nous avons eu une chambre avec une fenêtre qui donnait littéralement sur un mur : l'avantage est que l'on était au calme de l'agitation de la rue et qu'on était pas dérangé par le soleil le matin. La chambre etait propre, malgré une forte odeur d'humidité. Par contre on entend tout ( y compris les personnes qui braillent sur le palier en plein nuit ) Le personnel est serviable et souriant. Le petit déjeuner est très bien. Pour le prix ( nous avons payé moins de 20 euros la nuit pour deux ) c'était très correct.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel deux jours. Pour le prix réduit que nous avons eu, c'était tout à fait correct, les chambres étaient propres bien qu'un peu anciennes. La nôtre donnait littéralement sur un mur ( à 3cm ) mais cela ne nous a pas dérangé, car ça nous a préservé du bruit de la rue et de la lumière du jour pour rattraper le sommeil manquant . Ça sent un peu l'humidité, et on entend tout ce qui se passe dans le couloir , y compris les personnes qui parlent fort en pleine nuit. Mais le petit déjeuner est bon, copieux , le personnel très disponible et agreable, l'hôtel est très bien placé et au calme de l'agitation. Pour le prix attractif, c'est un hôtel que l'on recommande.
