The bed was terrible. Hard, plastic covered mattress and wooden ridges in bed also. Bathroom not nice. No floor Matt and shower looks like it will explode. Host was helpful. Not much English.

Very convenient located in Ba Dinh, near Ho Chi Min memorials. Friendly staff, checking smooth. Clean and well maintained, with kitchen and washing machine. Bathroom just outside bedroom door. We stayed repeatedly coming and going from Hanoi.

Скромно, но жить можно!
Для Ханоя вполне недурно, но не стоит ожидать особенного комфорта. Переулок, который не так легко найти. Узкая лестница, по которой сложно поднять багаж. Отсутствие завтрака. Еще озадачил тот факт, что туалет с душем находятся не в самой комнате, а рядом, на лестничной клетке. Формально в них никто не ходит, кроме вас, но они открыты для всех, и не очень удобно ходить из душа в комнату через общую лестницу. Кроме того, мою комнату мыли и готовили не заранее, а уже после моего прихода, пока я сидел внизу. Судя по времени уборки, создалось впечатление, что комнату не убирали очень давно! А может, просто сильно старались. К плюсам я бы отнес расположение - если вас интересует официальный квартал с мавзолеем и посольствами, то все рядом. До старого квартала легко доехать на автобусе за 7000 донгов. Также порадовал кодовый замок на двери, посторонним сюда не войти. Wi-Fi довольно бойкий. Сам номер вполне чистый, кровать без изысков, но спать можно. Еще бы ванная была в номере - а так осталось ощущение общего душа.

Lovely little gem in Hanoi
We arrived here after traveling almost 24 hours, our first stop in Vietnam. I was worried because we had been unable to call (from Canada likely to do with my phone carrier) to advise when we would arrive (there is no front desk here as it is a 4-room hotel) but we had info call from the airport, and staff waiting in the lobby on our arrival. He was friendly and helpful, spoke decent English - better than you will find in much of Hanoi. Showed us our room, bathroom which was not in the room but just outside, and private as there is one room per floor here. The shower doesn't have any actual hot water, it is heated by a reservoir on the roof so heated by the sun, but it was not bad especially in the Vietnam heat. Set us up with good Wi-Fi and free bottled water in the included fridge (with freezer) which was great as that is the only water I would drink in SEA. Answered any questions, and was also available during our stay via phone and email to answer any further questions. The location was good, down an alley just off Le Hong Phong which cut down on street noise, as did the large opening window, which is great as Hanoi is up and running before 6am. The bed was large and very comfortable, nice after the 18 hour plane! It is walking distance to markets and tons of great local street food, restaurants and shops as well as the Ho Chi Mihn mausoleum and museum and the very touristy Old Quarter. Overall we both enjoyed it very much and will stay here again if ever back in Hanoi!
