I liked the location. Resort looks very tired, however room was clean, there was mould on the bathroom roof it didn't feel dirty though you could see cleaners were trying to keep it under control. Was so lovely and quiet until the last night, wow there was people running up and down the corridor making a lot of noise and continually banging doors, this did not stop until around 3am, couldn't call the reception as the phone in room didn't work niether did the number for the resort, however as i only speak English it would not made a difference as none of the staff spoke English. The price definitely reflects the stay The pool does not have any water so don't expect to relax in or around it, there is no chairs either. There is restaurants there, however I never seen anyone eating there or working in them

Staff where all good and spoke English which helped. However our communciations through Expedia where nver replied which was a little unsettling. When we arrived we could see a lovey garden, however when you enter the foyer, you begin to notice things. For one the advertised swimming pool was unavailble. There was no assitance getting our bags to our room and it was up a flight of stairs. The rooms are in a block out over the lake - which should be amazing however the wear and tear over the years are very obvious. The room is a good size, and the vew over the lake at night is lovely. However the furniture, bathroom (showever curtain) etc where all old and worn. We had to call reception to have some one come and fix the TV which required the fixit man to go under the desk and swithc things on and off. Another strange thing was the way the power worked from a centralised remote and when we switched on the bedside lamps they flickered before they worked!! We had included breakfast in our stay, which was very average, and saved by the freshly made omelete. We ended leaving the Tang Loi after only one night. its a shame it has been let go as the grounds, the lake, and the 1970s style architechture could be amazing however it just isn't!

The stay was overall just okay. The hotel is very outdated and could really use some upkeep. The location is decent, with a few places within walking distance, but it’s a bit far from the main road. The breakfast buffet was average, with limited variety, and much of the food was cold on the buffet line. The Wi-Fi was unreliable. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but I would not stay here again.

The property online looks 10/10 but in person is really outdated. The staff at the front desk are not friendly and informative. I got zero information when I checked in. They also never answered WhatsApp for the questions nor concerns I had.

This place is a dump. My room had cobwebs in every corner, floors dirty, the phone in the room did not work, the shower had no pressure, the tub had rust in the corners the shower curtain was molded. The lake was disgusting, full of trash and dead rotting fish that stunk to high heaven. The buffet was a joke. People in the hallways screaming at all hours of the night beginning at 6am.. no security to enforce any rules or order.DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.

Room was very dusty and the bed made us itchy The pool was dirty and unusable, full of leaves and looked like it hadn’t been maintained in a while and had no chairs to discourage you from using it. There was no working lift we had to carry our suitcases up 3 flights of stairs. The toilet did not flush and we were given 2 single beds rather than a double that was advertised.

Rooms need cleaned better especially under the bed

For the price of the place compared to other more established hotels in the area, we weren't expecting the same luxories we had experienced at other hotels around the country, but this place was a bit of a let down. The room was filthy, the wooden floor under the bed didn't look like it has been cleaned in years, there was empty bottles, other trash and about an inch thick of dust. The rest of the room only must have had a very basic surface clean as there was dust all over the TV and other surfaces.

It's an old hotel and badly in need of some renovation. The best part is the lake view. It's right on the lake and I loved the balcony. The pool is also a great perk. The rooms, however, felt old and worn out. The bed wasn't comfortable. Also, there is no guest elevator, and while the hotel is only three floors, it does make it difficult if you are carrying a lot of luggage.
