「度假村离Elle这么远是没有想到的，据说在Hotels.com上标的是空中距离:-( 幸好入住那天一路暴雨，所以错过Elle所有的景点也没有什么遗憾。酒店很偏僻，紧邻一大片农田，很有巴厘岛乌布的感觉，格外的亲近自然。因为是生态酒店，一切以融入自然为主题，所以客房不免简单一点。休息区域都在室外，这也造成了一些不方便。最值得大加赞赏的就是亲近自然。一早起来由向导带领，在度假村范围内观鸟，孔雀、大嘴犀鸟、野鸡随处可见，孔居然雀还跑到了我们居住的度假屋边。入住当天好像只有我们一行5个客人，所以服务的自然非常好。餐饮也不错，虽然没有什么特别惊艳，但非常好吃。餐后推荐我们吃了水牛酸奶冻，奶味十足，加上当地的枫糖，口味很好。」

「I stayed two nights at the Heritance Tea Factory hotel. As soon as I arrived I was amazed by the scenery, it looks just exactly the same as the photo, surrounded by tea plantations with a great with of the mountains from afar. It is a bit of a drive from the town but it was nice to be in somewhere very peaceful and scenic. They have a lovely welcome ritual and tea. The hotel still has the engines from the factory days and they runs every night for 30 mins. It is full of stories in this hotel....

「I wish I could like this place more but there were a few things which would make me reconsider booking if I had known upfront. Firstly, the driveway is a pain but can deal with it if known upfront, front desk was very accommodating taking our luggage up the hill to our van. Room 103 was a family room but directly above the reception and bar, so expect loud tuk tuks and music from the bar until about 11.30pm. Overall it was 3/5 - not bad, not amazing.」

「We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, well-organized, and featured a sleek, modern design. The absolute highlight was the views—simply amazing from everywhere we went, including the room, restaurant, bar, and pool. The buffet breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. A special shoutout to the staff who provided truly outstanding service. The location is ideal: perched on the hill so it’s easy for cars to access, yet still well within short walking distance...

"A beautiful new boutique hotel featuring sustainable rock-stone architecture designed by award-winning architect Palinda Kannangara. The property has a modern, minimalist, and zen-like aesthetic, with grey-toned interiors that evoke the signature style of Tadao Ando. Our room was located at the highest point of the property, offering stunning panoramic views of the Ella Gap. The trade-off, however, is the considerable number of steps required to reach the room from the lobby, which may be challenging for some guests. Upon check-in, we encountered some issues with the Wi-Fi in our assigned room, but the hotel staff responded promptly and offered us an alternative room, which we appreciated. The hotel also features a lovely outdoor saltwater pool and is conveniently located within easy reach of the town centre. Breakfast was included and showcased traditional Sri Lankan flavours — which was served near the pool. Overall, a stylish and tranquil retreat with spectacular views, thoughtful service, and a distinctive architectural character."

I took the nature walk with Mohan and he is very knowledgeable and has the best photography skills! I also did the Pekoe trail with Mutu, the kindest man who showed me all about the flora and fauna, and taught me some local languages. We had the best laugh! Thank you team! "
