「Lovely property… breakfast and dinner were good quality The only complaint is that the Expedia site says that all rooms are air conditioned but only half the building is. As we were in a heat wave in Ireland, we received a room which was sweltering even with windows open. For our second day they were able to move us to one of their air conditioned rooms which was far more comfortable… perhaps the website needs to be more accurate」

「The character of the castle is excellent. Christian toured me around the proper and is a superb concierge. The room itself is lacking. It smells strongly of mildew. Carpeting is worn. Amenities like coffee and cookies need an update. The food at dinner was overly salted and the service declined during the dinner - strong start and a weak finish.」

「we were travelling to Ireland to bring my brother’s ashes back to bury him, I spoke to the owner of this house on the day of travelling only to be told they do not advertise their property with Hotels.com we were left stranded and having to sort out accommodation last minute, the owner tried to help us as Bunclody is a very small town and not plentiful of accommodation. We ended up finding somewhere which was not ideal as it was room only instead of a whole house with cooking...
