"We booked a weekend stay at Crystal Coast Oceanfront Hotel and wanted to leave a fair, positive review. The property was clean, the staff was fantastic, and our room was absolutely spotless. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and professional, and the oceanfront location is beautiful.
We did realize pretty quickly that the overall atmosphere was not the right fit for what we were personally looking for. This is more of a lively, family-friendly beach hotel, with a tiki bar, pool activity, music, and entertainment. For many guests, that may be exactly what makes it a great beach weekend.
For us, we were looking for a quieter, more relaxed coastal getaway, so after about four hours we decided to head home rather than stay the weekend. That was simply a matter of personal preference, not a reflection of the cleanliness, service, or quality of the property.
I would absolutely recommend it for guests looking for an active, family-friendly oceanfront hotel with onsite energy and entertainment. It just wasn’t the right match for the quiet weekend we had in mind."
