“We only stopped for one night , but the staff couldnt be more helpfull and polite , we had breakfast, which was good and all you good eat ,have no problem recommending the dukes ”

“The stay was great. To say it was old is an understatement, 700 years is the oldest I've ever stayed in and the condition the owners have maintained is brilliant. If you're looking for a historical twee experience, go for this. The cost of the hotel and meals is inexpensive and good quality, the breakfast basic continental but Ok. We loved it.”

“Greeted by very friendly staff who then showed me to my room, drink selection good but I didn't eat there so can't judge that, I will say there is a broken window in the room but it doesn't affect noise or sleep and there was two pieces of broken glass on the table, but it's a lovely place 100% would stay there again ”
