「We were very pleased with location.it was in-between every where we wanted to go. Had a fenced backyard. Also, there is the biggest dog park i have ever seen. They are divided into the dog size. Had a great coffee bar. Good choices with TV. Kitchen was well supplied for what was needed. We saw deer just outside the fence. Jesus was very helpful when I called him with a question. It is an older house that has been renovated nicely. We would stay there again.」

「Great house for a large number of guests.」

「Very beautiful renovated home. Beautiful kitchen and bedrooms. You can feel and appreciate the historic atmosphere of the home. The fresh flowers were a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.」

「The place is exactly as described.....secluded horse farm. Woke up this morning to a beautiful sunrise with horses all around and the friendliest kitties. If you love animals this is the place to be. Would like to come back in the fall for a visit.」

「Nice property with excellent host. Clean and in order. The area around the cabin had ample hiking, which we enjoyed. We found the activities at the resort to be very expensive (80pp for the water park!), so we stuck to the trails. Recommend a visit to JMU’s arboretum.」

「The host was quick to respond to questions and the property was amazing! I definitely recommend waking up early enough to watch the sunrise over the mountains from the porch!」

「Great space for many guests with lots to do. We really enjoyed the game room and great outdoor space.」

「We had a wonderful getaway. Location was very peaceful with easy access to local sites.」

「We had a great stay here for JMU Family Weekend and would absolutely stay again! The house was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. It was also very easy to get to, with plenty of parking and, importantly for Massanutten, no crazy steep driveway! The host was wonderful and extremely responsive. We had an unexpected situation come up very late one evening, and the host was responding to us even around 12:30 a.m., which we really appreciated. We also loved that the house was pet...

「The house was excellent for our short weekend trip. The house has several rooms and a nice kitchen and my boys enjoyed the game room and pool table. We also used the outdoor fire pit which was very easy to get setup. The location is great as it’s close to activities, restaurants, and the water park.」

「We really enjoyed our stay. The house is great for groups and has something for all ages - plenty of games, books, sauna, and hot tub. The host is communicative and able to answer any questions. Would recommend!」

「This was a great rental for our large family gathering. The place definitely had wow factor. First rate amenities and large enough for bigger families/extended. We had smaller children in our party and there was plenty for them to do. We were disappointed that the theater needed a laptop or roku or firestick to run the theater. Not in the listing... so we had no theater movies for the kids or adults. Would like to see checkout time moved to 11am vice 10am. Since this is such a large house it it...

「Great, modern layout for the family to use. Enjoyed the big table, comfortable sitting areas, ample sleeping areas, kitchen, and the location.」

「The house was neat and very clean. The lay out of the house is great and having two floors is a good way to separate those who sleep late and those who don’t! I would highly recommend this house for a visit to Massanutten.」

「We had a family gathering at Lux Mtn Chalet. It was beautiful house inside and outside. There is a game room where my kids loved so much. The view was amazing and bed linens were clean which was important for our family.」

「We had an amazing time at Bear Cabin! It’s definitely an excellent choice for some much-needed R&R. The cabin is perfectly located, incredibly spacious, and equipped with all the right amenities. The beds were super comfortable, and the hot tub was the perfect icing on the cake! Overall, a 10/10 experience—we can’t wait to come back! 🏡✨」
