The most beautiful 5 star stay! Everything was excellent all down to the finer details. Breakfast was consistently excellent as was the cleanliness of the hotel, the gym, pool and sauna. Staff were welcoming and nothing was too much bother. We were sad to leave today and cannot wait to return. Thank you for the room upgrade also, we loved our stay!
We loved every moment of our stay - the rooms are very luxurious, the staff are friendly and very helpful and the facilities are fantastic. It is located in such a peaceful place and it is very easy to relax and unwind here. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast, the grass tennis courts and spa pool.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Bucolic setting
Loved the room with patio and sheep out back. Food was delicious.
However the place seemed a bit dated and in disrepair……. bikes, pool, tennis court.
The staff were wonderful !
A special oasis outside of Napier not to be missed
We loved this little oasis. The owners have done an amazing job of creating a special place that has everything you need. We were driving from Taupo to Napier and stopped for the night. They have lawn tennis, a full spa, swimming pool and an amazing restaurant not to be missed. Don’t bother going back into Napier for dinner. Stay here. They have an incredible wine selection and it’s been one of the highlights of the trip so far.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The service was excellent and staff friendly. We ate every night in the restaurant and found the food to be delicious and beautifully presented We loved the setting and gardens and would have liked to stay longer
A beautiful rural property with adorable sheep and apple trees lining the drive. The staff is super helpful, plus the food is incredible. The only issue was the bathroom. The tub has a fixed glass panel, so you have to climb in the tub to start the water. Awkward and cold! Plus the floor tile threshold is a bit sharp on your feet.
Amazing service by all staff, nothing was trouble for them all, meals are 1st class,
Room was refreshed when we went out for the evening, lovely detail touches for our stay.
Highly recommended and looking forward to staying again when I am in the Hawke’s Bay.
We could not fault anything.
