Secluded Private Lake Cottage

Great space including kayaks and swim platform dock on Lake Chatuge. Cabin is newly furnished and was very comfortable. Front and back porch outfitted with comfortable furnishings with a lake view on back porch. Overall nice space and setting if you appreciate quiet and tranquility.

Good communication from the host. Cabin and check in was just as described. Flyers/pamphlet with surrounding information. My wife and I spent the Christmas holiday there. Everything in the cabin was impeccable. All the dishes to cookware the toiletries, the towels, the bedding everything seemed brand new. The cabin was really well maintained. The Fireplace and AC worked well--no issues with heat or cold. The grill had propane and grilling utencils. Christmas lights was nice. Cabin was nicely space from the others (a littlem more than shouting distance). We are beach bums, so this cabin was out of the ordinary for us. We were definately in the woods. But this is something we will be doing more of.

This is my first experience using VRBO and was absolutely thrilled with the results. The house was clean and comfortable and in a very quiet neighborhood. It was so wonderful to be able to take the kayaks out on the lake and not have to go somewhere else to rent them. Would definitely recommend!
