「We enjoined spending a few nights in this cozy cabin. A very quiet isolated place just a 3 minutes drive from highway and a few more minutes to Denali park entrance. The upper half-floor has gorgeous mountain views. Very clean. Just be aware of ecologic (no running water restroom) - really high tech. Thank you Tommy」

「The lodge is located in a very beautiful place. It is surrounded by river, mountains and forests. We saw wild animals every day! There are basically no trails, no roads, and no people and private properties around. We had so much freedom in choosing our hiking destinations. Chris, Amy and their big family are very warm and hospitable people. They accommodated every our request and helped a lot with a good advice. It was especially cool considering how remote the location is. Beware though that...

「Wood River Lodge is a hidden gem surrounded by beautiful mountains and creeks. This lodge is seriously remote, yet well appointed with nice facilities, food, drinks and internet. There are a number of beautiful hikes you can spend days exploring and come home to warm fires, drinks and hot food. They even accommodated our special dietary restrictions with wonderful meals. Chris and family were welcoming hosts for a one of a kind Alaskan wilderness experience.」

「What an awesome place to stay. First time in Alaska and would have to rate this place high first for the cabin and secondly for its location. The cabin was well maintained and very comfortable. We were close to the Denali main gate without all the riff raff that comes with an attraction. Needed some supplies and contacted Jeff the manager via cell phone and he responded within minutes to help us with what we needed. All in all a fabulous experience!」

「The property had everything we were looking for. It was very clean and stocked nicely. It even has extras like a soft cooler so we could just pack our lunch for the park. Very quiet and a magnificent view. Lacie also gave us a bunch of great into and made sure that the stay went well. It is very close to the part as well as Healy. We hope to be able to come back someday and stay again.」

「It's worth going an extra few miles off the main road to stay in one of the cabins. Breakfast options are provided whereas you need to go to Healy for dinner. Great place to stay to avoid the more crowded options around Denali.」

「My wife and I stayed for 3 nights during the time we spent in the Denali area (honeymoon) The cabin was very clean and cozy! We were happy to be staying down the road from the masses (majority of cruise ship tourists/crowds) A short drive to Denali National Park entrance, Three Bears Grocery store/gas, and walking distance to 49th State Brewery (great food!) A nice quiet, relaxing stay! 」

「Nice and quiet location. Very clean and comfortable. Steep, rocky driveway. Door to bathroom needed adjustment to close so others couldn't see inside. Could benefit from adding a folding table.」

「Really, a nice cabin in a small cabin "hotel"? Beds were comfortable and it was nice that they provided a grill to cook on. But, there was nothing else - no plates, utensils, necessities to take advantage of it. It's in Healy, so cheaper than staying in Denali for a kickoff into the park. There's restaurants and gas nearby. A good location to stay if visiting the park. Just realize that it has more of a hotel feel to it than anywhere I stayed while in Alaska.」

「Cabin was spacious & has a fully equipped kitchen so we could cook our meals. There was a capsule coffee machine & big room heater & a fan (No washing machine). Cooking condiments provided too. Good place if you have a car.」
