“The room was great and easy access. Its a short walk from the downtown district and has a full stocked kitchen and parking right outside the door. The drive to Portage beach is less then 10 minutes and there's a great old fashioned drive in Root Beer stand with great food nearby. The only issue was we seemed to run out of hot water when filling the tub ans needed to wait. Other then that. It was a great experience!”

“We had a wonderful experience with this cabin. Eddi was incredible to communicate with. Incredibly minor issues was the bed was not very comfortable for me, but my partner found it to be fine. The kitchen was awesome but it was missing a cookie sheet and/or pizza pan. Many cobwebs around the back porch that we took some time cleaning up, but that was expected. Two great bedrooms even though we only used the one. Would be a great place for a family with just a couple kids. Didn’t get the chance……

“This was our third stay in one of the cabins on the property. Well maintained, clean, and comfortable. Great groomed walking trail all around the pond, perfect to exercise our dogs and stretch our legs after a long drive. Tons of bird activity for those interested in a bit of bird watching. “ The cabin was clean and the lake and beach area were nice. Some suggestions, there was no frying pan to cook breakfast. An added mirror in the bedrooms would be nice with only one bathroom. And the nightstand as a dresser did not leave enough room for 2 people. We had to leave the clothes in our suitcase.Overall though it was a nice place to stay.”

“In this day and age when corporations/management companies buy up residences and manage them from afar, it's a breath of fresh air to have hosts who are right on site, offering real human interaction, that for me, helps make the stay a much more comfortable experience. “This is a great little place to stay that is close to the Dunes and all the cuteness of Chesterton and Porter. We came for a wedding and really enjoyed the area. Our host gave us great breakfast recommendations and was very quick to respond to any questions. The apartment was very clean and the decorating was very tasteful and comfortable. GREAT bed mattress and spacious bedroom was a bonus! Highly recommend for a short or long stay in the area. We loved the area so much, we plan to come……

“Horrible experience, to say the least. The owner called me, which I thought was strange. I was en route, and he texted me three separate times. Then he texted, saying is this your white sedan? (mind you I wasnt there) He made me uncomfortable with excessive texting. I assumed this was like a townhome. It felt like an apartment. The neighbors slammed the doors so loud I only slept for two hours. (came in and out all night long). I went out to get stuff neighbor's were watching me? It was 4:00……
