“Second time staying at this location. The property is clean and quiet. It is currently transitioning to a fairfield inn, but hopefully the helpful staff all stay, and the clean condition of the property is maintained”

“If you are looking for a hotel outside the usual chains, this is a great choice. We stayed for one night with my daughter and it was overall excellent. The hotel is the only one in town, it is on Main street. The town is small but the surroundings are beautiful, rolling hills, forests and lakes. The courtyard and lobby were welcoming and nicely decorated, the staff very helpful- the evening desk manager gave us a great recommendation for dinner at Frank's place a few minutes away. “The stay did not start well as there was no record of my reservation. I don't know if there was a communication problem between Expedia and the "resort" or if there was internal miscommunication. None the less, the room that I reserved was not available. Thankfully they had a different accommodation available. I called a number for the motel that I found online. The person said that there was no reservation in my name. I gave the itinerary number you supplied. The person continued to say there was no reservation. I don’t know if a problem was on your end or the motel end. It was a TERRIBLE experience!!!”

“It is a charming hotel, with actual metal keys. Much more personal than a chain hotel. The television signal was not consistent, which was not surprising for the hilly location. We really enjoyed our stay. The town has many small shops, eateries which are worth enjoying”
