“Extremely clean, lovely apartment in the heart of Halifax by the waterfront. In a very hilly downtown, it’s great to be in the middle, to go any direction easily. Host was responsive and helpful.”

“I loved the restored historic apartment complete with original doors and bedroom floor as well as claw foot tub/shower and exposed brick. Very spacious and beautifully decorated. Timely communication with host including attention to requests. Excellent walkable location to restaurants and attractions.The staircase while grand made luggage lifting necessary.photos on listing not updated.”

“Nice apartment and close to Halifax waterfront. Washer and dryer was nice to have access to given we were at the mid point of our stay. Parking was a plus and easy to coordinator with owner prior to arrival. While the kitchen and bathroom were clean, I gave a lower cleanliness rating due to multiple long black hairs on the fitted white sheet which made me question if the bed had been cleaned prior to our arrival and the sofa was covered in short white pet hair. ”

“Was as advertised and good for the solo traveller . Took a bit to get used to the staff of black market coming up to the storage rooms but this was only during the day and was quiet at night . Yes for sure is loud at night as it’s the spot to go for after bar food but the portable air conditioner in the bedroom drowned that out. Was super hot in Halifax so the apartment was warm during the day but bedroom was fine at night with AC going. Amazing location a coulple of blocks from the waterfront……

“Our apartment was as described and very clean and comfortable- beds were great and the location was excellent- a very short walk from restaurants and downtown boardwalk. However upon arrival the elevator was broken and we were on the 6th floor - it was out of commission for most of our 10 day stay which was such an inconvenience and struggle for my elderly aunt. The building was still under construction/renovation but the main hallways and thoroughfare could have been cleaner- the lobby area……

“We loved our stay in Halifax. The place was clean and perfectly equipped. The location had multiple bars and restaurants within walking distance. We would absolutely stay here again. Host also accommodated us adding a day and helped move our bags to new apartment so we could go out and site see while room was being cleaned! They went above and beyond to accommodate.”
