"A lovely little cabin by a lake at the back of the owner's house (great distance between. Felt secluded and peaceful. Was great waking up and feeding the chickens, guinea fowl, geese and ducks with a cup of tea looking at the lake. A great spot to unplug and relax. Fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, central heating, cooker, kettle etc. a few more utensils would be handy. "Lovely little cottage in a very nice small town. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Although no parking is available outside the front of the cottage, we had no problem parking in the road outside under the bridge as suggested. We enjoyed the walks along the Humber with the path starting right behind the cottage. This is perfect for dog owners like us.We took a trip to Withernsea (about 40mins) where there is a vast expanse of beach to explore (also great for dogs). Also went...

"We had a couple of problems during our stay. Our hosts were on holiday in a rrmote part of the country so communication could be delayed because of poor mobile connection. However they curtailed their holiday and rectified matters as soon as they were able. I would certainly stay there again as The sawmill is very centraal, shops nearby and close to transport hubs. Highly recommmended despite the problems we had."

"The cottage was gorgeous, in a lovely quiet location and parking at the back. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We only stayed a night but it had almost everything you'd need for a stay. A bit of soap in the bathroom and teatowel/towel and washing up liquid in the kitchen with some milk for a cuppa when you arrive would have made it perfect. "The staff were lovely and very welcoming, and the hotel was exactly what we were looking for — somewhere comfortable and relaxing. The rooms were generally clean, although they could have benefited from a little more attention to dusting. There are also a couple of small improvements that I think would really help elevate the rooms and potentially the hotel’s star rating. Smart TVs would be a great addition, allowing guests to use services such as Netflix, and replacing the shower curtains over the baths with proper shower screens would make a noticeable difference. The gym and swimming pool were both really good and a great addition to the hotel. The signage around the hotel could perhaps be improved, as it can feel a little like a maze when trying to find your way around. The breakfast was really nice, with a good choice of options, and represented good value for money. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and felt the hotel provided everything we needed for a good one-night break. With a few small improvements, it could be even better."
