「Avoid this one place. I never leave reviews, but if this helps one person it’s worth it. Our first room smelled like someone had a bunch of wet dogs in it, the clock didn’t work, and the tv speakers were blown. I thought it was a fluke and spoke with the gentleman at the front desk and asked for a new room; he moved us with no issue. But when we got to the new room is was a smoking room and we reserved a nonsmoking, not good when you have breathing difficulties. At this point it was midnight and...

「The Retreat Center offered a fabulous opportunity for a midpoint stop. The location and property were stunning. The drive into the property offered great promise of a comfortable stay. The after hours check in was simple and the access to the room was right off the main driveway. Parking was easily accessible and close to the unit. 「Good room size but smells. Front desk was helpful and switched us to different room. 2nd room smells little better but has strong male cologne smell. Ok breakfast. Hard to find Uber or Lyft from the hotel. Didn’t use pool or gym so no comments on these. 」

「The young lady that checked us in was not friendly at all. The room was just as described. My only complaint is that there was hair from someone else in the shower and on the towels. We booked for 4 people and only had two towels in the room.」
