「Staying here was an amazing experience and everything we needed for a quick trip to Ellensboro and Shelby area. Karen was amazing in meeting with and us when we arrived and also showing us around the property/facilities. 「Bob and Gayle were so helpful and available to us,the property is better in person, than in any picture you can see or read about. The privacy and beauty of this cabin is great. Activities to go to are within 20 to 40 minutes from the cabin. The spring fed pond was a great part of the property my dog and I swimmed every inch of it. The fruit trees and wooded area were an incredible add on to this property, my wife and I will definitely come back God willing. Thank you Bob」

「Really neat place if you want to get away from city life and enjoy peace and quiet. Owners are very friendly and responsive. I wasn’t there long enough to try the breakfast “which upsets me because I’m sure it would have been delicious”. Plenty of wildlife and stock animals that I’m sure kids would love it. Almost stole their cat though. We became buddies and everytime I would go outside, here came my little buddy to keep me company. I would highly recommend a stay here.」

I am 5'10", 225 pounds and could barely execute stool paperwork due to insanely tight quarters in the bathroom. 「We loved our stay. Easy access for a car with a wheelchair. Although we couldn’t get the chair inside it was easy to charge it from an outlet and it was under the roof on the front porch. The views from the back porch were stunning and fun to look out at the night sky and twinkling lights below. I would suggest bringing spring water with you if you are not accustomed to well water for coffee and cooking. Be prepared for driving a distance to run to a store. It is a quiet get away from it all...

「The most pet-friendly place we’ve stayed. A clean, fenced backyard, a balcony/deck with good railings (no worrying that a dog might fall off), one of the bedrooms on the first floor so we didn’t have to use the stairs. The property was private, so we didn’t need to worry about neighbors. A well-stocked kitchen was a nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay.」
