“We went for a weekend and stayed in this beautiful place. It is exquisitely decorated and has everything that you could possibly want. We saw shooting stars, as the night sky was perfectly dark without city lights. We were only a five minute drive to Spring Green for shopping and sightseeing. “Stunning house and property near Talesin and The House on the Rock. Nestled in a mature landing of trees with beautiful vistas off the back porch. “Fantastic house in a very peaceful location. Loved spending time outside on the deck, on the hammock, by the firepit, or on the other comfy outdoor furniture. Kitchen was well stocked, which was helpful for making big family style meals. Tons of games, puzzles, ping pong, and water amenities to enjoy the lake. Easy to get into town for groceries or if you want to check out any local haunts. Hosts were super responsive and house was spotless.”

Once we figured out how to use the lock box to access the key, we found our apartment just as described, although the sofa is new and the old one is in the picture on Vrbo. The new sofa is very comfortable, and the Spring Green Motel sign that replaced the Coke sign, is a wonderful addition. The bathroom had two types of conditioner and shampoo, plus SoftSoap body wash. “This is such a beautiful house! The pictures don't do it justice. Very roomy with beautiful outdoor areas! We met the owner shortly after arriving and he told us some of the history of the house. “This cabin is very cozy, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch for all of our meals and coffee in the morning. There are other cabins there, but you still feel like you’re out in the wilderness. The only thing you have to be mindful of are the steps going to the second story. They are very steep.
