12 Collier Beach Rd in Hilton Head is indeed a wonderful oceanfront home, perfect for a vacation getaway. With its convenient location near Shelter Cove Towne Centre, vacationers can easily explore local shops, restaurants, and attractions. The six spacious bedrooms, private beach access, and stunning ocean views from all levels of the home offer a luxurious experience. Additionally, the private pool is a fantastic amenity for relaxation after a day of fun in the sun. Overall, this comfy and well-equipped home seems like an ideal choice for a memorable vacation on Hilton Head Island.

FREE activities included with our signature Southern Hospitality Pass! Your pass includes one free round of golf daily at partner courses like the Heritage Collection and the Brown Group. Note: This is per day, not per person. You also receive one free round of miniature golf each day at Adventure Cove and one complimentary bike from Island Cruisers to start your stay. A $25 delivery fee applies for one bike; additional bikes are delivered free and available at a discount.

Pool*: 11' x 18' (45 inches deep) *The pool can be heated up to 88 degrees for an additional $500/week, however it is not available from Memorial Day- Labor Day. Pool heat can be added during check-out when booking online or over the phone with a Guest Ambassador. Last minute requests are not guaranteed and subject to a fee. We cannot guarantee pool heat maintains when the air temperature is below 60℉.

We had a family group of 14. Worked out well us. It is located in a private community so the beach was fairly uncrowded. Had a few minor issues and we were pleased with the quick response of the property manager.

Great stay for Spring break

We had a wonderful time at HHI. We never had to leave this beautiful space! The kids enjoyed the beach and the pool. The adults loved the safety of the location and the large kitchen and dining room to gather. Will definitely come back!

Amazing location - would definitely come back!

The location and house itself were amazing. Private access to a pristine beach. A house big enough to easily fit all 13 of us (3 toddlers, 1 infant, 9 adults). A walkable spot to some bars (Coco's, Cocnutz) and restaurants (Marriot) nearby. The only complaint would be the bare minimum in amenities that the host provides. We ran out of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dishwasher soap, and laundry detergent within two days of staying there and were told we need to buy our own from there on out. For the price we pay, I'd expect a bit more high-end services to be provided to us.

Nice property, great location. Pros: location and size of property Cons: 1. upper deck furniture unacceptable and some broken -folding chairs - surely not for this price 2. I find it difficult to understand how one can rent a property for this much $$ and get one wash clot and towel per person. 3. Bedding (specifically fitted sheet in main master - old and pilled. not quality 4. NOT ONE PIECE OF tupperware or something similar to store anything in. Not one chip clip. 5. Also i understand we must bring our own beach towels but the lack of linens for daily use, including kitchen towels is rediculous.

Great place for family

We stayed at this great property to celebrate my 60th birthday and we had our children and our grandchildren there and the house was perfect! There was space for each family and everyone really enjoyed their time as well as the pool and the private beach access! Loved our time here and already hoping to come back. The only suggestion I would make is the limited amount of supplies that are left for renters. For example, we were expected to take garbage out regularly (which is a normal expectation) but there were only a few garbage bags provided and a family of 9 can generate loads of garbage in a week!! It would’ve been much more convenient to have garbage bags available so that we didn’t have to buy garbage bags to fit the garbage cans of the unit and just leave them behind. The limited bath towels provided was a bit of a challenge given that people were going to the beach in the morning then getting ready with a shower to go out then coming back and going to the beach at night and then having another shower to wash off from the beach. Hard to make one or two towels per person work in that instance and a strict threats about getting make up on hand towels had me running around like the make up remover principal! I have in my own Vrbo black washcloths with make up remover embossed on them. They’re quite lovely because people can get all the make up items that they want and you’ll never see them. I’ve stayed in several VRBO‘s in the last year and it seems many people are moving to that. I do recognize that you provide make up remover but for sensitive skin that my daughter and granddaughter both have they cannot use those in tears their skin up. Also it would be very convenient to provide beach towels. Lugging beach towels for 9 people ftom SLC was a big bag. We have a VRBO property that we rent in Hawaii and we provide beach towels. Granted they do often get stolen but that’s just kind of the price of having a home with beach access in my opinion. Costco sells great beach towels that are quite affordable. Other than thise inconveniences though, everything was outstanding!

Beautiful Home & Wonderful Location

This home is located in a private beach neighborhood with very little public beach access, making it ideal for a family or group who want the "feel" of their own private beach. The house is as advertised and the updates to the pool deck and main level flooring are very nice. Like many large beach homes there is lots of room for casual together time, including a nice soaking pool (large enough to enjoy a few drinks or let the kids splash around), and a mere 50 steps from the beach. All bedrooms are of good sizes, with an amazing main suite. All bedrooms have on suites except for the jack and jill on the 4th level (adjacent to a nice "tv room"). The kitchen is well appointed, with all needed tools to enjoy dinners, or any meal time. Speaking of mealtime, although the home can accommodate up to 17, there is a small challenge in eating together. The only table for eating is large enough to fit 11 around the table, and the side bar in the kitchen can accommodate another three (children, or two adults). Of course you'll experience a few situations in any rental property including the icemaker not functioning even though the property management company communicated it was working (more on the property management poor communication and follow-up in a moment). There are several beach chairs in case you can't bring enough to support your entire household. The homes are adjacent to each within feet, thus all decks are adjacent. If you're used to say OBX with a bit more room between homes, this home is built in a stylish private neighborhood and for us, both sides had families with children, so I don't believe any of us "bothered" the other families while we were out enjoying the decks/pool. The deck has a nice sized BBQ for grilling out, with plenty of utensils to support your evening grilling. This review would probably have been a 5-star review had it not been for the communication and follow-up of the property manager. After we were told the elevator would not be available for move-in, it would be repaired on Tuesday, with my follow-up Tuesday evening (receiving no communication), we were then told, Wednesday. Wednesday came and went with zero follow-up. In fact, we received several text messages about other aspects of the property as well as offers to stay longer, but no one had the courtesy to call and apologize or even give us a status of why it would not be available. We left Saturday morning without one message from the manager.
