This Hilton Head vacation rental is a nicely renovated one-bedroom villa in South Forest Beach. From the balcony, there is a panoramic view of the ocean and beachfront pool. Entering the villa, the bedroom is on the immediate right with a king bed and a flatscreen TV. Past the bedroom is the renovated bathroom with custom vanity and countertop and a standalone shower.

Experience your own slice of beachfront paradise at this gorgeous ocean-view condo in South Forest Beach - perfect for a girls trip or a romantic getaway. Located in Ocean Dunes, enjoy access to a sparkling heated pool, while all the action on the beach is mere steps away. You'll love being located within walking distance of many shops and restaurants of Coligny Plaza, a short walk up South Forest Beach.

Start vacation days with morning coffee on us while taking in the panoramic view of the ocean and beachfront pool. This thoughtfully upgraded condo features a completely renovated kitchen with all-new appliances and a center island, while the bathroom boasts a beautifully tiled standalone shower. In the evening, kick back and relax on the living room sofa bed while watching favorite TV shows.

THINGS TO KNOW
Beginning November 5, 2023, the elevator will be down for four weeks due to maintenance.
This vacation rental is not equipped with a washer/dryer; there are coin-operated facilities located on-site.
During the months of September - May, the complex may be performing varied maintenance work. Effects of this can include but are not limited to, extra noise, reduced parking, and construction zones. We will do our best to make all guests aware, but Vacasa does not always get notified of projects before they start. We apologize for any inconvenience you may experience during your stay.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We only stayed two nights, the first morning I killed a cockroach next to the bed. I called the property manager and sent a picture of the dead roach. They asked me to look for bug spray and spray the condo myself. I did not find any spray and told them so. They said they would send someone out to spray. I called later the afternoon and the following day and no one ever came out.

A very nice condo- well decorated, clean, but very crowded. A king bed is nice, but sacrifices needed space. No dresser, closet doors don’t open all the way and trying to access the closet is awkward. Wouldn’t rent again

Overall quite an enjoyable trip to HHI. We had a great time. The unit was clean, in a great location and well stocked. I had two exceptions that i need to mention. The moldy/musty smell was overwhelming for the first several days, and the barhroom was very small and the shower did not drain well. However, we did appreciate the beach chairs and the continuous communication from Vacasa. Looking forward to our next trip.

This condo was one of the cleanest we have stayed in which made me very happy! I hate coming into hair in showers and dirty coffee makers. This place was spotless! The bed was VERY comfortable. nice appliances in kitchen & was very well stocked with pretty much anything you could possibly need to cook. There was a built in pantry next to the fridge that hadn’t been stuffed full which was VERY nice bc I hate unpacking my groceries and dried goods and not having anywhere to put them. It was small, but just big enough for my husband and I. The condo was comfy and homelike, not over decorated like some are, but had a comfortable sofa with comfy throw pillows and throw blankets. Beyond pleased to see that there were more than 2 towels per person. There is a washer and dryer outside the unit near the elevator on the same floor as the condo. The view was amazing from the balcony. The pool was nice too. The grounds are clean and the boardwalk that goes out to the beach has one of those mats at the end of it that went all the way out through the dunes to the beach so no trudging through deep sand. The elevator was quick and worked well and the coin operated washer and dryers were cheaper than any other place we’ve stayed before and they washed and dryer well and quickly. The condo technically sleeps 4 with the pull out sofa, but I would not recommend for 4 adults, maybe 2 adults and 2 kids. I would have personally found it cramped with 4 fully grown people. The shower nice too!

For the price, I expected much more from this property. The location was great but the condo wasn't clean and the bathroom fan and some lights didn't work. Communication is also terrible through this property manager. I booked the reservation and never received any communication other than a text for check-in. It wasn't until I asked my husband, who I added as a guest on the reservation, to check his email that we realized they sent everything to him. For the price it was for three nights, we expected a great stay but we'll be looking elsewhere for our next Hilton Head visit.

The condo was exactly how it appeared on VRBO. Clean and conforyavle eith a great view! t was in a perfect location for beach, pool, walking to Coligny Plaza and shops and you could rent biikes across the street. I would definitely come back and recommend this condo and location to friends and family!

The location if really amazing. Right in the water, 2nd floor with a good view. Easy walk to the beach. However, the condo itself needs a lot of “love”. Almost the instant we walked in, things began falling apart. The screen door on the Oceanside slider was stuck closed. The bathroom door fell off its hinge. Random dust bunnies on the floor and hang prints on the windows. We were afraid to sit in the countertop stools for fear they might fall apart. This is a three-star review because it wasn’t overly pricey, and considering the location, the price is fair (but not great). It was aggravating to need a maintenance person come fix things that clearly needed to be fixed before we got there.

The condo is in a perfect location with quick, easy access to the beach. The ocean view from the balcony is the main attraction. The condo was spotlessly clean and well stocked with kitchenware. It is a quiet unit in a well-maintained development. The photos are accurate. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Had a great time and property was beautiful and great views!!! My wife and I had a great short stay, only thing was we reached out to the management company first day because the Wi-Fi would not work and there was a ceiling fan that was detached sitting on the outdoor table. We didn’t know where it came from but didn’t want to be charged for it. We never heard back from the management department. But as long as we don’t get charged for that we have no complaints!

This is our second stay at 208 Ocean Dunes, and we will return—for one wonderful reason—it’s oceanfront! You can’t beat the view! The condo is very compact but fine for two people. (We use the hallway bunks to stash our stuff since there is little space elsewhere.). This year there was a new comfortable couch, high balcony chairs and air conditioner unit in the back. Note there is no heat, so quite chilly in November. Also note, some of the pictures on the lusting are of the Hilton next door which is a lovely view from the balcony of 208–but you can’t use their property. Ocean Dunes is much more modest! The pool is very nice—and again, one word—OCEANFRONT!

Very nice property- clean and tidy. We enjoyed the deck for morning breakfast/coffee while looking at the ocean. It is close to Coligny Plaza and an easy bike ride to many areas. We were disappointed with the beach chairs and umbrella that were in the pictures of the property but not described. The umbrella was broken when we took it to the beach on day one and opened it. The low sitting beach chairs were not comfortable. We encourage the owner to upgrade those items as they are important to travelers.

Everything about our trip was great! From the moment we picked up our packet, everyone was so nice. The property was exactly as described and was perfect. Super cute room with everything you could possibly need! The view off the balcony is amazing. You can see the ocean thru the palm trees and hear the ocean at night. The room was spacious for the 2 of us. The king size bed is really comfortable and all the decor has a great beach vibe to it. The owners provide everything you could possibly need during your stay. They even have Mary k perfume and cologne incase you forgot yours. We truly enjoyed our stay and will most definitely stay here again
