I can’t say enough good things about this home and these hosts. I have done vacation rentals for years and this was by far the best experience. It is very accommodating for a large family group with ages from infants to 70’s. Comfortable beds, sparkling bathrooms, and a kitchen I would bring home with me if I could!

This property offers every aspect of itself to the guests' enjoyment. The owners' love is evident in the many details which are all clever, fun, comfortable, entertaining and of very high quality. We never left the grounds yet never ran out of things to do or new areas to relax in. Rick and Lisa's hospitality is unsurpassed in our experience with rental properties. It is beautifully maintained and was literally gleaming in cleanliness. You will not be disappointed in this gorgeous retreat!

Dream house

We stayed four nights when we went to our daughter’s wedding. We deeply enjoyed the house, the views and all the fun stuff around the house from the goodies , wonderful beds and things to do we loved the theater but what we loved the most was the outside lake, jacuzzi and outdoor seating. It was all wonderful my daughter and brides maids had a wonderful time as well. People from all ages will have a great time here. I will hardly recommend this place for family gatherings.

Fantastic Fall Getaway

I want to first begin this review by saying - what an amazing property! Myself, along with friends and family traveled from South Carolina to this area for my sister's wedding nearby. Lisa, the owner, was so incredibly helpful during the booking process, during our stay, and even upon departure. This home was so well equipped with everything you could possibly think of. Coffee, snacks, laundry pods, even extra bathroom items such as a new toothbrush - it is obvious they really went out of their way to think of anything and everything a guest may need. The man made pond was such a nice feature and my sister and I enjoyed paddle boating in the afternoon. This home was so perfect for our group that all traveled hundreds of miles and did not want to stay in a hotel. A few members of our crew have family close to this area and even discussed coming back again just so we could enjoy this cabin again. Thank you Lisa, we had a wonderful stay in your beautiful home!

Exceptional!

Our family of 4 and 3 dogs had a wonderful stay at the Winding Wood Cabin. It was spotless when we arrived and had all of the creature comforts of home. We fished and swam in the pond, played games and watched a movie in the home theater. We spent many hours just relaxing on the porches. The back porch overlooks the pond, and the front porch has a lovely courtyard, it was perfect! We also really appreciated the fenced in portion of the property for our dogs, gave us peace of mind that they would not wander off. Lisa has taken much care in providing a comfortable stay for everyone including our pets. There were blankets, bowls, treats and potty bags provided, it was fantastic. The house and property are gorgeous we could have stayed for the rest of the summer! Thank you for an amazing stay and cherished memories.
