「Our group stayed at La Posada during a women’s retreat. The location was great, and most of the staff were wonderful. Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel and our room experiences left quite a bit to be desired. The hotel is definitely dated, and the rooms themselves are very tired, dark, and in need of updating. During the first part of my stay, my room had a few spots of dog feces on the carpet. While it appeared that the mess had been picked up, the carpet clearly had not been properly...

「It was a trip back into the 1960's. They provided towel sets for two people when three were registered. No grab bars on side or walls of the tub, and no apparent slip prevention on tub bottom. We could have dropped a towel for the purpose, but then we would have been drying off with a washcloth...) Burned out light bulb next to one of the beds. The housekeeping staff was good, however. But at the $800+ price for two nights, next time we'll chose another place to stay.」

「What a special place. My wife and I were here for our 25th Anniversary. Manuel (owner) took spectacular care of us. The breakfast gathering is NOT to be missed, but reserve you place early. It is a wonderful place to stay!」

「I liked the property itself--- a slice of 'old' Santa Fe, with the photos, the wood; it seemed like a hotel from an earlier era and I liked that. Back when Georgia O'Keefe lived near Santa Fe and D.H. Lawrence. The hotel seemed to embody the 'soul' of Santa Fe a little bit」
