This is a very convenient location near restaurants and walking streets. staff are very friendly and polite. The rooms are attractively decorated, clean and fully equipped. This is truly a great place to stay when you travel. Nice to stay here I had a good time. Jenny and Alex guided and helped me a lot during my time here.

Our stay was exceptional from start to finish. Staff has been extremely friendly and welcoming. The lovely lady at reception made our stay especially great! She gave us lots of tips for local foods and activities and helped us book tours to Ha Long Bay and Sapa. The room has been absolutely wonderful and clean! The location is perfect to explore the city by foot as lots and lots of attractions are nearby. We definitely recommend staying in this lovely hotel!

Exceeded all expectations of customer service. Besides the cozy rooms, solid breakfast, and amazing location, this hotel has unbelievable service. The entire staff(Max) made us feel comfortable during our stay. They were all extremely professional and friendly at the same time. We got great advice about day trips and tours around Hanoi. If the tours they offer don’t match your style let them know! We aren’t big fans of tours so they suggested hiring a private driver for the day (it ended up being cheaper than tours!

The facility is a bit old but it is clean. Location is good, most of the places are within walking distance. Plenty of foods in surrounding area. One thing I want to mention is that staff, particularly Jimmy, the day time floor manager, is very helpful and knowledgeable.

The staff is excellent, thank you Sully! Staff goes out of way to help, and gave great city and food recommendations. The building/facilities are dated and a tad worn but very well-maintained; the room, sheets, etc were clean! (Shower height may be too short for tall guests, fyi.) Generous with complimentary daily water, coffee, and tea. Ideal location within Old Quarter. Really great value. Recommended!!

Just spent few days in Hanoi. And Royal Palace hotel is one of the best hotel so far. If you're travelling alone, this hotel is located in Old Quarter area, which popular for tourists, and also near the St Joseph Cathedral. The hotel manager (Jimmy) is a nice guy. He told me some information about Hanoi. And it was useful, since i travelled alone :-). The room is nice, modern mix retro style. Which i love it. The AC is good. Shower with hot water. Clean and tidy.

Had an amazing 4nights stay here. Everything was exceptionally good. Room was spacious, clean and more importantly the friendly staff. Alex speaks good english and helped us to arrange our Halong Bay day tour and also the Trang An limousine transfer. Great service and location wise was superb! Strategically located in the Old Quarter and it's only a walking distance to almost everywhere.

The front desk helpers, went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable experience in Hanoi and the Old Quarter by their food and massage recommendations, and arranged for transportation to/from the airport and Halong Bay. Stayed here for 2nights, Mr Jim who is the manager is an amazing person who is ready to help out anytime and also he immediately sorts out if there is any issue in the room. Arranged my tours through the hotel which I really enjoyed. As the hotel is situated in the old quarters which is the heart of Hanoi everything starting from ATM ,mart, pharmacy, even the night market is at a walkable distance. Will definitely recommend this hotel to the person searching for the best hotel to stay in. Also Ms.Anne arranged me a drop off ride to the airport at a lesser price when compared with Grab, Go jek. Overall had an amazing stay. Go for this hotel without a second thought.

Near all tourist attractions and very near the highway so its easy access for us to ride grab or take our tour bus. Het ontbijt was heerlijk met veel keuzes, er was een saladebar zodat ik de groenten kon kiezen die ik wilde. De kamers zijn schoon en het personeel is gezinsvriendelijk. Ze zijn zeer attent en vriendelijk. Jim was zeer behulpzaam bij het organiseren van uitstapjes naar Halong Bay en hielp ons bij het regelen van onze eigen reis naar Ha Giang, een echte aanrader!

I recently stayed at the Royal Palace Hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam, and I was very impressed with my stay. The hotel is located in the heart of the Old Quarter, just a short walk from Hoan Kiem Lake and many of the city's most popular attractions. The hotel is also within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and cafes. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and well-maintained. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are also spacious and well-equipped. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. They are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that you have a comfortable stay. They are also very knowledgeable about the city and can help you plan your activities and excursions. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Hanoi. It is a great place to stay for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The best things about this hotel are its location, friendly & helpful staff, and comfortable rooms. With only a few days in Hanoi, the hotel proved a perfect base to explore the Old Quarter by foot. Importantly, the room was a haven to escape the heat and busyness of the city. The staff on the front desk were very helpful & knowledgable giving directions and information for exploring. They were able to book me a coach tour day trip to Nimh Bihn national park, with collection & drop off from the hotel door. Highly recommended. They can also arrange trips to Halong Bay. Transfers to the airport were also easily arranged by the hotel. The porters are extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast is a simple buffet with a good selection of cooked eggs available to order. The fruit selection was nice but the orange juice could do with improving. All in all, a great stay and I’ll happily return if I find myself back in Hanoi.

Great location, all the staff are so lovely and friendly. Good breakfast and I love the Beef Pho here, it's amazing. They helped us book a 2 day 1 night tour to Sapa by sleeper bus. We got there during the holiday season so it was quite crowded, but the tour organization was very professional and everything was very good.
