「Great staff, clean room」

「The Bay Motel was a unique surprise. My wife and I were looking for something simple and affordable to simply sleep while we were visiting our daughter...what a Gem. The staff was friendly and warm, the room was spacious, and the bed was outstanding. When we travel as a we seldom eat in the hotel restaurant, the coupons we received at check-in convinced us to give it a try...we were blown away by the speed, attentiveness of our server,, and the fresh meal we received. Affordable. Welcoming....

「This was an awful experience. Reserved a room the week before our arrival. Called day if to let them know that we'd be checking in late. When we got there they didn't have a room for us. Offered us their last available room. It was disgusting! The room was dirty, had a horrible stench and we saw what looked to be a cockroach squirm across the floor. We ended up leaving.」

「We had an extremely early flight at the airport across the street from the hotel so we stayed one night only. The room was clean and comfortable and the front desk staff were friendly and explained the hotel amenities (e.g., breakfast, coffee) very well. It is not a luxury hotel but it is a nice place to stay if you are flying one of the first flights out in the AM.」

「Clean hotel! New and cozy! Close to 41 but far enough away that you can’t hear the noise. I frequent the area often and this will be my hotel of choice!」

「We were traveling through and picked a budget hotel. The room was huge, 2 doubles (not queens) and a pull out. Room is very dated but that was expected. Typical breakfast layout with cereal, toast yogurt coffee waffle maker and eggs from a box. Also had biscuits and gravy. Room clearly was smoked in or had animals in the past as my allergies were awful through the night. But overall what we exprected」

「It’s a lovely, small, quiet inn. Although no restaurant, they will make a frozen pizza for you. They also have beer and wine available. Their breakfast room is sunny and cozy. They also carry Seattle’s Best Coffee which I love. I was only there one night, but it was a restful night.」

「I never got to check in. The door to office was open but staff was nonexistent. I rang the bell several times. I called the motel from my cell several times all to no avail. It will become a problem if I end up paying for the stay that didn't happen.」

「The breakfast could have been a lot better and the lady looked like she was mad about her life choices every morning. We say good morning and she says nothing back. We are from the south where saying good morning is a common thing but I guess it’s not in WI … they decided to paint the hallway while we were there and didn’t post signs and I got paint on my sleeve.. other than that the hotel was clean… it was nice. No real complaints」
