A short stroll to the Reichenfels Castle Ruins, with their legends and fantastic views, is definitely a must. Be sure to explore the romantic Elster Valley with its excellent hiking trail (Elsterperlweg). The towns of Greiz, Zeulenroda, Plauen, Gera, Weida, and Zwickau are also always worth a visit!
