Perfect family trip

The property was beautiful immaculate and the location was perfect . I believe the property was more impressive in person than online -which rarely happens. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing Place with a Great Location! PARADISE!

We really enjoyed our annual family vacation in Anna Maria Island! This house & location were great! The entire place was very clean & so comfortable for all that stayed. Everything was close including the beach and all the great restaurants. We look forward to renting here again soon. Thank you, The Martinez Family

Family vacation

Beautiful home! Would stay here again, pool and hot tub were great! The home needs another couch in living room as it only seats 4 comfortably.

Photos don't do it justice

This place was perfect, and way bigger and nicer than you can see from the photos. Hot tub, plumbing, everything in excellent working order. We will definitely stay again, thank you so much, VRBO for a seamless and relaxing vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Fernweh. This was our fifth summer to Anna Maria Island and this location was fantastic! The property was as described. Plenty of space for our adult/teen children and extended family as well. We will definitely look to book again next year!

Great house.. outdoor pool area needs work.

The house was great. Modern, clean and very roomy. The pool /grill area could be better. There is only an outdoor dining table for 4, which was awkward with 6 people (4 bdrm house) when grilling. Could use a couple of lounge chairs by the pool rather than all Adirondacks. Overall a great space, a short walk to a beautiful beach.

The walkout to the pool needs sprayed for mosquitoes. We are all are up with bites. (Alot)

This place is amazing! And we will definitely rent here again. I kinda felt sad coming back to my house... the stand up showers are a delight. However, the BBQ gas grill will need to be replaced soon. Only one of the 4 elements worked. But we made due. Thank you Fernweh

Better Than Expected!

Just left a week here with a large group of 8- teens and adults. The house was better than expected! It was clean and all linens plus beach/pool towels provided, which was nice to not have to bring. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked with to be able to cook meals. I wish I would have asked ahead of time if there was a traditional coffee maker or Keurig (I brought pods) but that was my fault. The pool was great to have after a long hot day on the beach and cleaned several times through the week. The hot tub was loved, especially at night. The outdoor space is lovely at night with the lights, seating and tv. We enjoyed many nights out there. The gas grill has been newly replaced, so thank you management! We found lots of beach chairs, nets and a tent in the garage. We didn’t need them since we had brought our own, but it was nice to see in case we needed. We had zero issues while at the house, it was better than expected! The location was easy to walk to the beach. We also rented a golf cart for getting around on the island, which I highly recommend.

Family vacation

The house was wonderful. The location was super easy. There was enough space for everyone. Clean, bright, and welcoming, the home made it easy to relax. Only feedback is the main master bedroom mattress is really soft—if you require a firmer mattress, try out the other beds first. Also, if you plan on cooking, grab some throw away Tupperware to store leftovers if you wish. There is none in the kitchen. And, if you aren’t coming far, bring a few extra bath towels. There are only 2 per bathroom and no rugs on the tile floor. We would dry off but then have to use the towels to dry the floor—which means you are washing towels constantly. Bringing 1 extra towel per person would make it a lot easier to hang dry towels and less washing. Even still, we had a fantastic time. All in all, fabulous stay—would highly recommend.

Incredible Hideaway

The property was located in the ideal location. Just down a block from the white sands of Holmes Beach. The property was spotless and provided all the necessary items that a family would want for a wonderful vacation. We were especially impressed with the property management company and their amazing customer service.

Nice house, good location

We liked the house and had a great vacation- couple of things to consider or ask about when renting. Mat for the floors- home is all tile and ground floor is a poxy material….it gets really wet and slippery- unsafe and we had a couple falls. One of the beds was not made and we couldn’t get sheets until Monday. Water pressure for sinks is no good but showers are fine(showers are most important anyway). Fridge downstairs can’t keep up with heat so don’t put any drinks down there. Home is loud and echos so bring a noise machine if you don’t want to hear everything. Mattresses (and this goes for all the beds we stayed in on island) are soft. Rolling over is like digging out of a hole. If you like firm these are not for you. Bring your own TP and soap. The sandpaper provided is no good and there wasn’t any hand soap in the bathrooms either…these comments are kind of picky and in no way did they really impact our vacation or make anything unbearable…. Overall we had a great time and we would definitely consider renting the home again, we would just plan accordingly.
