Great ‘away from it all’ stay

Excellent cottage in rural location. Thoughtful welcome package and the cottage is very well equipped. Paul was available to meet any requirements/answer questions but our privacy was maintained at all time.Will definitely recommend Law Brook Cottage to friends and family

Cosy and compact

Law Brook Farm Cottage is a lovely little getaway. It is cosy and compact and clean throughout. It’s inviting and the bed is comfy. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere but for a city girl the country is going to be a little different. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful retreat it’s perfect. Paul is friendly and on hand if you need him as he lives next door. So you are not completely on your own in the middle of nowhere. Overall a lovely stay

Comfortable stay, very helpful host

My wife, our toddler and I had a wonderful stay at Lawbrook Farm. Paul was a great, most helpful host who always enjoyed a chat. The house is furnished in order to provide guests with a comfortable stay. The view from the garden on the surrounding area is marvellous (when there is no fog). If we were to visit the area again, we would definitely consider coming back.

Very nice stay

It was a very nice and beautifull stay! Everything we wish was available and Paul was really nice and willing to give a lot of advice. I should recommend everybody who thinks about booking to really go!! You will be ensured of a terrific time!

Perfect getaway in a fantastic location

This was my second stay at Law Brook Farm Cottage and I had just a good a stay as the first. The cottage is in a nice quiet location just outside the small town of Holmfirth with plenty to do in the area and some nice pubs/restaurants only a few minutes away. The property itself is finished to a high quality and has everything you could possibly need during your stay. The beds are very comfortable and give a good night's sleep. The downstairs open plan living/kitchen/dining room is also comfy and at night is cosy. There is central heating plus a wood burner in the fireplace which I didn't need. The outside has parking for two cars and also a couple of places to sit where you can catch the sun and watch the world go by. The host, Paul, is a really nice guy and always stops for a chat to see how your day has been. I'd happily stay at Law Brook Farm Cottage again next time I am visiting the area.

Lovely, cosy cottage with amazing views

We spent a week at Law Brook Farm Cottage and we had a lovely stay. The views across Yorkshire from the main window are amazing. The cottage is very well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The shower is great. As the weather was not kind to us, we benefited from the log burner in the evenings and so felt cosy and warm. There are many things to do in the area and a lot of the main attractions are within an hour's drive of the property. Paul welcomed us when we arrived and checked in with us before our departure. He was avaiable should we have needed him. The welcome tray was a lovely addition to our stay. We would recommend this cottage if you want to get away from it all and relax.

Enjoyable relaxing break

Had a great stay at Law Brook Farm cottage. Location was ideal - great views and good walks nearby, as well as some good amenities in both Hade Edge and Holmfirth. Paul was very welcoming and knowledgeable on local information. Would consider re-visiting as well as recommend to others

A Hade Edge Haven

A comfortable, spotlessly clean, quiet, well equipped holiday cottage. The views from the dining table are mesmerizing, the cottage is a great place to sit and relax or hike on the numerous trails around. A fabulous farmer's shop closeby together with village pubs serving good food. Paul, the owner, wants you to enjoy your stay in his cottage, he's thought of everything, and we did. He lives next door, he gives you privacy, however, we loved our chats with him. Thank you Paul, you deserve all the accolades.

Cosy cottage

We had a lovely time in this exceptionally clean and cosy cottage. The welcome tray was just what we needed after a long drive. The surroundings were breathtaking. Paul was a great host. We asked for wooden logs and it was organised within minutes. Highly recommended place if you want a peaceful stay in a rural location

Wonderful stay in the country

We loved staying at this property, Paul made us feel very welcome from our very first day. He responded to questions very quickly and was very friendly. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and farm like setting. It was close to most of things we wanted to see and if we just wanted to stay in for the day we could lite a small fire and enjoy the quiet. If you are looking for an escape from it all, this is a great place to find your quiet oasis.

Lovely place to stay

We stayed for 5 nights and on first impressions the property looks fantastic, really well presented with amazing views across the countryside. There is ample parking for 2 cars and some outside seating where you can enjoy the view, the peace and hopefully,the sunshine. Inside the property matched the outside. Everything is done to a high standard and you feel Paul, the host, has really thought about what guests would need. Everything you could want is there with no superfluous clutter and it makes for a very attractive and comfortable interior. Paul, himself, was a great host. Communication before hand was very good and replied to messages quickly. During our stay, Paul was just as helpful and often around as he lives in the adjoining property. Paul is a really freindly and interesting guy and we all enjoyed our chats with him, always able to provide information about the area, where to go, where to eat, etc, and just chit-chat about life in general. I thoroughly recommend this property and I hope I can return again next time I am in the area.

Fantastic find.

We had a wonderful 1 week stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean, with breathtaking views. It is perfectly situated for exploring the local area. Paul was the perfect host, contacting me before we arrived, and when we arrived giving us tips on where to visit. The welcome tray is lovely to arrive to. We definitely hope to return again.
