"Room cleanliness is not up to standard. Vacuum only did once on request for a period of 5 days. Pillows and blankets smelled bad, no adapter in room for travelers even asked, no toothbrush and toothpaste, no bottle water provided. We woke up every night because the room was hot. No matter we set the temperature to 20 degrees or 30 degrees but it stayed without changed. The elevators and the corridors on each floor were filthy. Luckily we had a 16th floor and a nice view facing the racecourse and street view. The food for breakfast time was good and the service exceeded expectations. Staff working at the hotel shuttle was also very helpful."

"Overall, my stay at the emperor was average. For a four and a half star hotel, I would expect much more useful amenities and a more delicious breakfast buffet. The hotel did not come with any body lotion and no face wash. I would expect these in a so-called luxury hotel. The breakfast buffet was also subpar the dim sum that was served have very thick skin. It was nothing like genuine Cantonese cuisine. The redeeming factors were very helpful staff and the cleanliness of the room. The air-conditioning is also relatively loud, and the beds are extremely small. I think overall, the staff and the people are amazing and out there to help you, but hotel policy itself is not the best which I believe reflects the management. They even charge you $90 for doing laundry, which is absolutely insane."

"Nice clean room. If a coinvent clean room is what you are looking for this is it. Room size is manageable but on the small size. Queen bed is a bit on the firm side but is was manageable. Location is excellent right in Hong Kong central and very accessible by bus or MTR. Check in was quick and staff at desk is very accommodating. It is very nice that you can leave your luggage with front desk on check out if you plan on doing activities after check out."
