Experience authentic Hawaii at one of this area's first resort properties. Mature tropical fruit trees and the Pacific Ocean, with the islands of Molokai and Lanai in the background, will create the perfect Maui experience from this oceanfront resort! Relax on your private lanai with beautiful garden views or walk just steps to the ocean and catch a glimpse of our sea turtles swimming or whales breaching during our winter months!

Maui Sands 2F is a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo. Spacious, offering a bright, open floor plan which includes all new carpeting throughout. Customize your cool climate with a brand new split central AC system, with remote controls for each bedroom as well as the living room, plus ceiling fans, and the wonderful tropical breezes. The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, custom cabinets, and updated appliances. Enjoy meals inside with a dining table for 6, plus extra bar seating! Sip morning coffee on the lanai that opens to beautiful garden and pool views.

The master bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed and smart TV. In the guest bedroom, you will find a Queen-sized bed and a smart TV. For additional guests, the living room offers a queen-size sleeper sofa. The bathroom has been remodeled and offers a large walk-in shower.

Maui Sands Resort is located just north of Kaanapali, perfectly situated between Kaanapali and Kapalua, and is just a short drive to Lahaina. This resort offers 2.7 acres of manicured lush tropical grounds, with guava, banana, mango and lime trees throughout. Resort offers a pool, BBQ area, on site laundry, and ocean observation deck. Please note there is no elevator to access Maui Sands 2F.

Nice place!

The condo was beautiful and the view nice overlooking the pool with a short distance to the ocean. Everything was very clean and amenities close. Wish it actually had a beach front but we had a wonderful stay. The only thing we were concerned about is the mold my son found in pockets in the wall below the air conditioner units which caused me congestion most of our stay. Otherwise nice place!

Top location

Don't judge a book by its cover. This complex looks older on the outside but delivers bang for the buck with its excellent location and amenities. We loved Bad Ass coffee an easy walk away, as well as having the beach and a prime whale watching spot on the complex's lawns just steps from our condo. Because it is a low-rise, smaller complex, it feels much more private and intimate than many of the other resorts on the coast. Everything you need is in walking distance: fresh takeaway food, a supermarket and even a larger resort's cafe if that's more your style. We really appreciated our well-equipped kitchen facilities. Others have written that the condo can be hot. We had warmish winter weather but found the condo to have good airflow and appreciated the ceiling fans in our room which kept things comfortable. The best review we can give is that if we were to return to Maui, we would happily stay here.

We had a lovely time at Maui Sands. The condo accomodated us well, with a nice balcony view, and just minutes from several beaches. The air conditioners were loud so we preferred not to run them at night.. Papi Ohana's cinnamon buns are a must if you stay here.

Very comfortable like a home

A very clean place to stay, It has everything whatever we re looking for. Beach chairs, beach towels, extra towels for shower, extra pillows/blankets. Soaps to wash clothes, dishes and dish washer: extra paper rolls. Seasoning flavors to cook, lot of space in dinning room and living room. Everything's close by Beach, abc stores; shopping. Especially it was nice to go farmer market on Sundays by Moku Roots restaurant. You ll see a pool front of your patio. Nice coin machine area to wash clothes. Etc... you ll love it there

Great place!! Everything was as expected. Very short walk to the beach and sunsets. You must have a cinnamon roll at Papi's Ohana. Get there early to avoid the lines.

Well-stocked condo. Everything you need. Super comfortable and attractive condo. Large seating area and dining room table. Great for families. Location is perfect for wandering to restaurants. Enjoyable stay

We enjoyed the layout of the unit, the closeness to the pool and provided beach accessories like chairs and toys. We found that the AC units in the bedrooms were loud but we discovered that opening the windows in the living room and bedroom and running the fans were sufficient to keep us cool during the night so we didn’t end up using them very much. Otherwise it was a great stay. Thanks!

Amazing family vacation!

This condo is perfectly situated in the Lahaina area. It's a short walk to a beach where my four kids enjoyed swimming and snorkelling. The condo itself is clean and well stocked. We would highly recommend this beautiful property!

Other than that they wanted to charge me another $ 700.00 + to stay one more night. So we left and stayed our last night somewhere else.

Don’t judge a book by its cover

We are family who vacations in Hawaii often. This was our first time at this condo. Property unassuming when you drive up but on site is nice. Very quiet, older property with nice view of courtyard and pool. 2F has been kept up nice-new carpet, new appliances, comfortable beds and pull out couch. Extras provided such as beach chairs, towels, coolers, beach gear which was nice to have on hand. Very close to market and food trucks in walking distance which was nice. Very warm inside and had to figure out portable AC units in rooms which didn’t help much. Main AC unit worked well. There was an ant problem- management responded quickly and sprayed but then room smelled like bug spray for 3 hours and ants continued to be problem for rest of stay both in room and in kitchen and bathroom. Didn’t feel clean in the kitchen with ants around. Couldn’t get any local channels on TV. The grills outside didn’t have enough propane so everyone could only use one grill. Pool was filled with chemicals that you could smell when inside. Main thing to improve would be AC units in rooms- at least have portable units filled with water upon arrival and fix any problem with insects prior to arrival.

A small slice of paradise

This property was amazing! It is really unassuming from the front, but when you walk in and see the unit you will be surprised at how nice it is. The balcony is great and the courtyard and pool are are so nice. They even have communal gas grills that we used one day to make and eat burgers by the pool. We definitely plan to come back here.

This gem of an apartment was perfect for our group. It was steps away from the water, and close proximity to whalers village, and a short drive to Lahaina . Our only issues was with the WiFi for the TVs. But we only tried to watch whilst getting ready. We didn’t bother trying to contact just because it wasn’t a big deal. Also the AC in one of the rooms didn’t work, and they were unable to replace. There were fans though. The ceiling fan worked incredibly well, the first two nights were just very hot. But other than that, it’s a well stocked apartment, the beds are comfy. It was a great trip for us

The Neighbor From Hell

We were so excited when we walked into our condo at the Maui Sands. My partner and younger sisters and I have been working hard so we could have a relaxing getaway. Unfortunately, our stay was sullied by a maskless, angry tenant below us. Every day of our stay involved some form of harrassment from this woman. She threatened us multiple times and recorded us cleaning the unit without our permission. In addition, she communicated with us in an incredibly rude and hostile manner. For these reasons we would not recommend anyone staying at this location, unless she is no longer a resident at Maui Sands. Although my communication with the liaison at my perfect stays was friendly, they refused to do anything about the situation. What a disappointment.

Overall good place to stay. Beds comfortable. Very clean. 1 wall AC unit keeps the place cool enough at night. Only one parking spot which was a small issue for us. I would stay here again.

Excellent for us...

This condo is lovely and well appointed with modest but effective grounds. Comparatively to the resort-driven community this place is priced well and has all the basics covered for a self-driven vacation. There was some improvements being made to the landscaping while we were there that limited the amount of outdoor space available, but theses things happen and the pool and "lanai" were lovely if a bit petit. A couple of things to note is that this complex is actually in Ka'anapali (not Lahaina)which is largely resorts and strip malls so guests will be travelling to the beach and other island activities. There is a small public beach nearby(1 block away by road/sidewalk) and groceries etc are close as well. These are just facts not criticisms. The condo itself is truly comfortable. The bedrooms are small to be sure but we did not care and the one little bathroom was fine for the three of us but bear in mind the louvered door is not as private as some may like. One thing incoming guests should know is that there are a lot of cleaning rules posted about concerning sand and towels, etc..basically keep your fun outside and off the linens. Overall this place is fantastic as your own little Maui apartment to use as a launching pad for other adventures.
